I got a pair of Grados a few years ago for christmas. You never can go back to anything sub-$50. It doesn't look nice, or block any ambient noise, but it's got the absolute best sound I've ever heard. Basicly $300 studio headphones for a third of the price.

Check in for new sheets every Monday. There's lots of Fire Emblem arrangements coming.

Pretty good for the price. It's not a studio pair, but that means you can wear it outside of a quite room without annoyance. If you want cheaper stuff with a good sound, jLab and Skullcandy can be pretty good with a few bad models. But you won't get a Bose or the likes cheap. I once looked to see if Grado made earbuds. They did....starting at $300.00. Unless you are a headphone connoisseur or an audiophile, you probably won't tell a spectacular difference.

I prefer headphones over earbuds because my ears are sensitive to that kind of stuff.

Bose stuff is like Monster or Beats - Massively overpriced paying for the name. Not totally awful but also totally not worth it.

Unless you get a pair on clearance like I did. Target was clearing out an identical pair of these for roughly $50. They are pretty much the same, except for some cosmetic changes in color.

Of course, my situation was lucky. I wouldn't have these if it was it's normal price. I'd just stick to cheaper brands.

I ordered some Bluedio R+ off of Amazon for $110 + $7 for a case. They have a built in amp like the Beats, but have higher quality audio. They have NFC capability, Bluetooth 4.0, 8 drivers(2 woofers, 6 3D speakers), simulated 5.1 surround, and micros SD playback. I looked extensively for a good pair of headphones, and I think these offered the most value out of any other pair.

They are 100% better than Beats, with superior audio quality and features, all while costing only around 1/4th the price.

I use the Grado SR-60i for casual listening at the office. The Grado RS-1 is my headphone for serious music listening. They're both great but the RS-1 is in a different league.

I'm guessing you have an amp? That's half of the reason why I got the Bluedios, and why Beats are so popular(despite weak sound). Also, I don't have $800+ to spend on headphones
