Finished it this weekend...it's for a pumpkin decorating contest at work. Sorry about the low pic quality, but the actual pumpkin came out pretty good I think!

Nope, it's a real pumpkin. Painted white, of course, but a real one. It's probably just the bad pic quality that makes it look like cardboard.
The crown is a Starbucks coffee cup that was cut and painted, to hide the stem. I'll try to get better pictures at some point...before the darned thing starts to rot...

I really wanted to do a shy boo, but I couldn't find good enough pictures to work from. :/ I do like the way this one came out, but if I ever did these again, to decorate my house or something, I'd want to give the shy boo a shot.

Yep. Acrylic craft paints. Not because that's the best type of paint to use on a pumpkin (if it is, that's purely coincidental), but because they are a measly 79 cents per bottle.
It's a thrifty Halloween 'round the Brutus homestead.
Not video game related this year, but I'm entering the contest again with this one. My King Boo didn't win last year. Somebody made an owl and that won instead. THIS YEAR I COME OUT SWINGING.
