Can I just like, hang off the back of your horse
And can you go a little faster?!
So the EB Expo is nowhere near you? Just guessing because I don't know what's going on here.
It's 15 minutes from where I live.
I have this little thing called the HSC (the final exams following 13 years of schooling) that start a week after the Expo.

It's even funnier because I had a free three-day ticket for Navi.
It's still sitting there and will go unused.
Poor Navi.
Or am I just underestimating the difficulty of this exam?
Difficult? Not really. But if you eff it up you can forget about getting a good job. By far the most stressful and important thing you'll ever do in Australia, that exam.

And @IAmNotWill Waltz is right, the HSC is the most important thing. What makes it worse is that it doesn't matter after March.
Also, it's not just one exam. For me it's a month long ordeal over 7 papers. with 8 essays, 2 creative writing pieces, 5,000,000,000 extended responses and some multiple choice questions

It's important and stressful, yes. Not THE most important and stressful thing, though (even if it feels like that at the time).
Charles Martinet is that guy who does the voice for a dragon in Skyrim
Thats the only game I know he has done.
For you, the day LordJumpMad graced your threads, was the most important day of your life. But for me, it was Tuesday. [url=http://www.backloggery.com/jumpmad]Unive...

I dunno man. I've yet to come across anything that even comes close to the HSC "experience."

I found that the last year of my PhD is easily the most stressful thing I've ever done, followed closely by moving overseas. Granted, they're not things that everybody will do.
I don't want to belittle the Year 12 experience - it's certainly a stressful time, and it does somewhat impact on your future, but it's not the be-all-and-end-all. If you do badly, it doesn't cut off your options for higher education. It will set you back a little bit, and definitely isn't ideal, but it's pretty hard to completely close off those doors. Nobody tells you that when you're in school, though.
However, after doing both of the things I mentioned above, I've thought back to Year 12 several times and, in hindsight, realised that it needn't have been such a worry.
Good luck though Aviator - you're almost there!
I used to have a blog link here. I'll put it back up when the blog has something to read.
I failed my HSC miserably, because I stopped caring, and had deep personal self-confidence issues, now I'm at university ready to become a teacher! And I never resat the HSC.
Though it is important if you want to get into Uni straight away, I'm glad it's not the only option to further your education.
@Wheels2050: If you've done a PhD, my hat goes to you good sir, from what my professors tell me, it sounds like an absolute nightmare to go through!
always thought I'd change to Gyarados after I turned 20 but hey, this is more fitting I guess. (also somebody registered under the original Magikarp name and I can't get back to it anymore orz)

I had a bit of a meltdown in my final exam (English Literature) and considering the exam is worth 50% my D+ brought my score down to a 25 for that subject and even though it was my worst subject it counted towards my overall mark as it is English. It brought my score down to 66 which at the time felt like the end of the world to me. But I got into Uni (granted on a third round offer), studying Business Management, and did really well. I scored almost all Distinctions and High Distinctions and got second class in Honours (writing my thesis was more stressful than anything else I have ever done). So I understand how stressful it is now but all you can do is your best. Remember there are always other paths to University and many people who never go to Uni become very successful and vice versa.
