I was thinking of Paper Mario, and his Final Smash could be the Super (forget the actual name) Star from Super Paper Mario. A giant 8-Bit Mario, imagine that. lol

Metaknight does not lack power, speed, or anything, really. Watch tournament videos with Metaknight if you don't think he's that good (I didn't before, either). And even outside of tournament rules, he actually excels with items and smash ball because he can reach them easier than most. To the average player, though, sure, they're pretty balanced.

It all just comes down to how good you are really

Regarding balance, I've noticed that since the original there are a lot more characters that can float (or similar) and this upsets it slightly. I don't think Snake & King Dedede need this to be good characters. Pit's flying ability is ridiculous. They clearly take steps to make it as balanced as possible, I think they probably removed Roy and made Ganondorf less effective for this reason. The original is the most balanced I think, but Brawl is great fun.
