How likely do you think we will get a remake of Mario & Luigi Partners in Time? I’m worried it might not happen due to the following reasons:
1. The 3DS seems to be near the end of its lifespan.
2. The game was originally released for DS and the Switch only has one screen.
3. No new handheld announced so far let alone a dual screen handheld successor.
4. Mario & Luigi Superstar Saga DX apparently didn’t sell many copies so far, at least in Japan.
So given these factors, do you think we will see a remake of the sequel?
If it does happen (which I think it will) it will 100% on switch. The game had one VERY minor use of touch screen and the 2 screens I think they could work around, seeing how it was mainly just used a map. A few enemy attacks would be changed, but that would be easy enough.

I‘d rather they work on something more original, by which I mean not only an entirely new entry for Switch but also that they stop doing what they did with Dream Team and Paper Jam and create more original stories, with original characters, original locals and original gameplay. You know, keep the weirdness train booted up by Odyssey going. But what I‘d favor above all of this - make all the original stuff with Paper Mario and return it to its rpg roots. Mario can have more than one rpg, dumb Nintendo!
@Don They could just re-release them digitally with the original pixel art or sell a collection at retail. That would make the games less expensive for both parties too.
@Don True, some enemy's made use of the second screen, but I fell like they could simply alter the attacks, or heck use attacks from the current games.

So Dream Team had none of this? Antasma would like to have a word with you
