Topic: Cel shaded games.

With the release of Wind Waker on the WiiU, it got me thinking, what if there was a revival of cel shaded games and would cel shaded graphics be popular enough to sell games?
What do you guys think?

Cell shaded games are already popular, look at Borderland 2 and Walking Dead

cel shaded games are a tool for artistic expression, but I don't think it's to show advancement in graphics technology, which is what most Xbox/PS4/PC-centric developers go for.

Cel Damage on the good old Gamecube was a awesome 4 player Twisted Metal style romp

I like cel shading in video games. The two cel shaded games I can think of off the top of my head (that aren't Wind Waker) are:

and

The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword
