I got a cute kitten like 2 months ago I was wondering how do you keep it away from the wii u and my ps4 any advice on entertainment center or certain things I could do yo stop the cat thanks
You could try putting it out of reach, maybe on a shelf that's one of mid-level shelves. You could also try putting some sort of box over the consoles if it won't cause heat problems.
I always had both cats and consoles in my house and never got any of them damaged.
But if you want to keep the consoles safe then just put them on a lower shelf easy for the kitten to reach, maybe it will get there time to time, but there will be no danger either for the kitten or the console.
I really do not recomand high places, soon or later the cat will get there for curiuosity and if it will jump to carelessy it will get on the shelf why accidentally knocking down everything on it XD
If you have an entertainment center with doors on it put your systems in that compartment and keep the doors closed when not playing them. Also don't stand the consoles up on their sides (like with the vertical stands) as a cat would have an easier time of knocking it down then if it were laying flat. If you see the cat going there (or any other place you dont want it to go) you just have to use enforcement. Telling it no in a stern voice while taking it away from the area or even keeping a spray bottle with water in it nearby and spritzing the cat if it doesn't listen.
I have had cats since the days of the NES and have cats to this day and honestly they dont mess with my entertainment center at all. I have one right now that will climb onto an empty shelf on the entertainment center but that's about it.

I have five cats and they've never bothered my consoles. One did enjoy chewing on phone cords so i covered them in electrical tape. Problem solved.
