Also forgot to add the 90's Xmen series

G-d that brings me back. Loved that show as a kid.

One of my favorite cartoon adaptions of the Xmen.

Out of these 3 cartoon channels which is your favorite currently?
Nickelodeon
Cartoon Network
Disney

Mine is CN because it has much better shows than the others have currently, only like one cartoon in each of the 2 other channels.

Cartoon Network by far. Only kids cartoon currently on I enjoy is Regular Show.

And if we add [adult swim], more the merrier. Still waiting on those new episodes of Boondocks and China, IL. Watching Sym-Bionic Titan reruns.

Although, Courage the Cowardly Dog was one of those shows that I found a bit disturbing when I was little.

Agreed, I found Courage the Cowardly Dog freaky and downright disturbing as a child (and young adult). But I always did admire Courage's loyalty and love for Muriel; despite being the hugest scaredy cat in existence he went through great lengths to protect her despite it all. Eustace was just an ass. Couldn't stand him!

Anyone remember Angry Beavers? The Flintstones? The Weekenders? Recess? Pepper Ann? These were some of the shows I loved as a kid. I don't really like a lot of the cartoons these days especially the old ones they try to remake (the ones with 3D animation bug me the most e.g Garfield and Friends).

Does anyone remember Loonatics Unleashed, or was that just a Canadian thing?

I barely remember it. Or rather, I remember it was a pretty forgettable show. :/

I remember it being on, but I never really got invested in it. (that was the one where they were superheroes, right?)

I just watched the latest episode of Gravity Falls.
Gravity falls is getting weird.
I thought it was pretty funny though, with Mermando.

I'm really glad Samurai Jack is on Netflix now. That's easily one of my favorite cartoons.

I am officially sold on the new Looney Toons show. Seriously, the latest Nostalgia Critic just put in on my incredibly long list of American Cartoons to watch (which currently only has one show on it that was made within the last 10 years), but now it just jumped to the top pf that list. I think I might go watch it right now.

I've caught a few episodes of it, and yeah, it's actually pretty good.

The CGI Roadrunner & Coyote skits are lame, but everything else is great.

Yup. I just watched the first episode and thought it was a very good start, to say the least.

To say more, though: I thought it did a very good job of subtly introducing the characters, recapping their quirks for the newer audience, and the older audience who might've forgotten them. The jokes mostly worked throughout the entire episode, and there are even some that I know will stick with me for a while (like pretty much the entire gameshow sequence). The cruise sequence did get out of hand, though, and eventually I had to start skipping around because I knew where it was going, and it wasn't worth the journey. Bugs bunny seems largely the same as I remember him, and if there were any differences, I was either able to overlook them, or they fit his overall character. But Daffy? Is it just me or has he gotten really stupid all of a sudden? I mean, I don't recall him being that bright, but I would never classify him as an idiot before. Not to say I don't like his character, it's just don't remember if he was ever this stupid. Luckily his still as diabolical and self-centered as ever, though, so all is forgiven, and hey, his stupidity made for some great laughs throughout the entire episode. Oh, and it was great to see the chipmunk brothers(?) and a slightly less stereotypical Speedy Gonzales again. They made for some good laughs, too.

Sorry for all the text, but TL;DR - So far it's coming off as a surprisingly fitting modernization of the classic Looney Toons. Not to say I think it's up snuff with the oldies just yet, but on it's own, I like it so far, and I'm actually looking forward to watching more. Like, I might take a break from anime to watch more of this. O_O

Favorite all time I loved as a kid in 70s Rocky and Bullwinkle Show in syndication. I still youtube the Fractured Fairytales.

I liked Wacky Races. The dreamcast game of the show was very fun.
