Topic: Cannot Access NintendoLife/PushSquare

Every time I try to load NintendoLife/PushSquare it gives me the message: "This site can't be reached". I've tried different browsers, incognito mode, different devices; None of them work. However, since I'm able to post here, I can access the sites using my data network on my phone. So the issue is my Wifi/router(/provider?), I think.

Oddly enough, it's only NintendoLife and PushSquare. Everything else works. Does anyone know how to solve this issue? I've noticed that these two sites are the only ones I use on a regular basis that aren't secured. Is it related to that? If so, is there anything I can do about it? Maybe my router's built-in firewall is blocking them, since I've already whitelisted the sites through my PC's firewall, with no result unfortunately.

If anyone with a bit more know-how than me is able to help me out, it would be greatly appreciated.

@Delibheel @Joeynator3000 I won't be much online until this issue fixed unfortunately, so I'll leave the modding up to you guys.

@Octane This happened to me the other day. Same thing, this site wouldn't load, other sites would. I tried to load again after a few hours and it just worked again. I got a message up saying the server is not responding or something similar, if this helps.

@Matthew010 @CurryPowderKeg79 Well, I know that the site just breaks on its own sometimes. But that's for everyone. IIRC, a few days ago you couldn't access NLife for a couple of hours, so you're right about that. This is a different issue though, since it seems to be on my end, and it's been like this since yesterday.

@Octane yeah, the backups run around 8.15am GMT and therefore do make the site very slow/inaccessible for a few minutes at least. But as you say, what you're talking about is unrelated.

Strangely Rob over at Push Square had an issue similar to what you describe - it was giving him connection refused errors from CloudFlare. Are you still having any issues today?

@antdickens Well, actually I 'had' issues up until now. I've been met with the same error all day, but I just refreshed the page on my PC since you asked, and... now it all seems to work fine again! I was also getting internet errors on my PS4 this afternoon, but that's been resolved as well. Seems like it was a weird bug on my end. Internet had been slow all day, with terrible download speeds, so I put the blame on my provider. I'm still not sure why only NintendoLife and PushSquare were blocked though...

@antdickens It's back. I'm not sure if anything has changed on NLife's part, or if it's just the internet over here.

@antdickens I can confirm it's my Wi-Fi. NLife works perfectly fine on a public Wi-Fi. It's not my router's firewall either; so I'm going to contact my provider. Seems like you don't have to worry about it being an issue on NLife's end!

@Octane I ran into an issue for several hours the other day where the site would only load in text. Links seemed to work but the formatting was all broken and it was just the text, all simple like a word document. It was like that on PC and my phone for several hours.

But everything seems okay now. @antdickens the issue I saw certainly was longer than a few minutes. It was at least 2 and a half hours in the afternoon Japan time. I didn't think to make a post since it seems resolved.

@antdickens Ah, sounds like you know all about it then. Glad to hear it. Best of luck dealing with it!
