Topic: Can anyone help?

I know this thread is weird but anyway,

I have a dry skin and when I play on my laptop's keyboard or use a PS3 controller,it gets slimy and slippery.
Its a horrible feeling and Its very distracting for me.

Can anyone suggest ideas to stop it from happening?
I wash my hands like every hour to try stop it..but it never works.

Weird alright Washing your hands that often sounds like a very bad idea for someone with dry skin. Water makes it worse. You should talk to someone at a pharmacy or get the hands examined if it´s a big problem. Medical questions like this can´t be solved on the ´net. Good luck!

Hm...How about having something to clean to controller/keyboard off with,like a towel or a napkin?

You should wear gloves. They should help you out and are guaranteed to make you look at least 27% cooler.

Uh, what? I would second a doctor or pharmacist. Oh, and don`t touch your face as much, I know it sounds funny, but your fingers don`t produce oil.

if your skin is dry, try lotion. i have dry skin on my hands too, and it makes for an unpleasant slippery feeling sometimes (especially if i've been handling denim all morning and my fingerprints are worn down). washing my hands alone just makes them drier, but if you wait 'til your hands are completely dry after washing them and then use a little bit of hand lotion, it really helps to re-moisturize them and will help you to grip things again instead of everything sliding around. don't use too much, though; a tiny bit will do the job and won't leave your hands slimy afterward :3

Drink alcohol.

It won't help the problem (in fact, it'll dry your skin out further), but the buzz that comes from being slightly intoxicated will make the uncomfortable feelings go away.

Aside from being completely unhelpful to Sean007's post, I'd like to say I will be reviewing this game myself as it's just been released here in Europe today. Expect a review early next week.

I'm with the lotion idea. Make sure it's higher quality stuff though. I prefer hypoallergenic, non-fragranced for all my lubrication needs.
edit: and yeah, stop washing your hands so much, it DRIES your hands out even more. Also if you use hand sanitizer, consider stopping or at least reducing your usage of that too.

I suggest you start licking your hands. All the time. If you need to handle something, lick that also. It always works.

Your hands get sweaty? This is the problem when you play challenging or hardcore games, I think. Try chilling out. How long do you play the games for?

I would suggest gloves the most since they won't cost much and they make you look all pro. Personal opinion on the pro thing though, so don't take it too seriously, Okay?
