Same age as me ffs! Woah! She went way too young.

Judging by the rumors of her drug use spiraling out of control(to the point she couldn't function on set) I'm not surprised, though.

I recently found out about this. I was hoping it wasn't her.
A wierd thing is that, on the way home, i was thinking about another actress who had died young (the one who played the yellow power ranger).
Britney was way to young to go. This is so sad.

That's just your standard "she's famous and she's dead" rumors. No actual validity to them. Personally I choose not to speculate until after the autopsy results are public. Sure, it could be drug related, but could just as likely (or more) be something like a heart defect.

I can't believe soooo many people here don't know who she is.

This reminds me of the time I mentioned N*Sync in front of my 11 year old sister. She looked at me weird and said, "who's N*Sync?"

It makes me want to pull my hair out. I remember when "Clueless" was a big hit when I was a kid. And then I saw a bunch of her other movies like "8 Mile", "Just Married" "Girl,Interrupted" and one of my recent favorites, "The Ramen Girl" (silly movie, but I liked it). She was a great actress.

Now it does because all the major news outlets know about it. But when he had posted it, only the gossip sites had spread it around. Its a big shock because it was so sudden and she was young.

I always liked hearing her voice as the dimwitted Louanne in King of the Hill. It was so cute.
The funny thing is, I've actually been thinking about her when discussing with friends what actors could play certain character roles. I mentioned that if the next Batman movie were to feature Harley Quinn, she would be the perfect choice. Less than a week later this happens. She will be missed.

This is sad, she died so young. Brittany Murphy will be missed.

While there's little doubt she had drug problems throughout the recent years, It could turn out to be unrelated. A pity either way.

Brittany Murphy was very ill in the hours before she went into cardiac arrest and died, sources tell TMZ.

We're told Murphy was taking prescription meds for flu-like symptoms she had been experiencing for several days. We're told Murphy began vomiting early Sunday morning and told family members she was feeling very ill.

Sources say various prescriptions were found in the home -- written for Brittany Murphy, husband Simon Monjack, and Brittany's mom. One source says, "There were a lot ... a lot of prescriptions in the house."

Law enforcement sources tell us Murphy collapsed in the bathroom and somehow ended up in the shower ... there was, we're told, a significant amount of vomit in the immediate area.

We're also told authorities did not find illegal drugs in the house, but Murphy was definitely taking various prescription meds.

Sources say her condition and the meds could have triggered a heart attack, but it's too early to know. An autopsy will be performed Monday or Tuesday. We reported earlier Monjack did not want an autopsy but ultimately it's the Coroner's call.

As we first reported, Brittany Murphy's mother told paramedics her daughter suffered from diabetes. We're told it was type 2 diabetes and people involved in the case doubt her condition caused her death.

I hate to say this, but they are actually good singers--I know because one of my friends from high school was a fan. LOL, your sister could be listening to the Jonas Brothers like mine is.

sorry, Ramandus, but Hanson was a milestone in annoying-boy-bands for me thanks to my little sister blasting MMM-Bop all throughout the house while i was in high school, lol. can't stand them myself :3
