If its from TMZ (which the article states it is), it is probably true. TMZ was the first to announce the news of Michael Jackson before anyone else. TMZ was also the site to leak the photos of Rihanna after being beaten up by Chris Brown.

This is really shocking and sad. I never saw any of her films but I will always remember her as the voice of Luanne on King of the Hill. Rest In Peace Brittany Murphy.

I remember her best in the Just Married movie with Ashton Kutcher. My wife loves that movie and we've watched it about 1000 times. Sad to see this lovely lady go so young.

A weird thing just happened to me. First off, when im not playing video games I like to draw, and over the years I have obtained many different magazines given to me by friends and family that I cull thru and clip photos from to use as models or references while drawing. I've fell behind a bit in my clip file, so I have a ton of random mags piled up in a drawer near my bathroom, and when I need some reading material in there, I just grab something out of the stack. Twenty minutes ago, well after I heard the news, I had to drop some kids off at the pool and reached about halfway into the pile and randomly grabbed a copy of Maxim from '05 with Brittany Murphy on the cover.... freaking weird.
