No wonder there has not been a new Final Fantasy or Dragonquest game. According to this report Square/Enix is only going to concentration on smart phone games. Sad. This is about 2 hours old.
Nowhere does it say that they're abandoning consoles altogether or that they're only going to focus on smartphone games.
Funnier still the relative spread is unchanged from previous years, and actually seems to show an increasing trend year-over-year.
Square Enix's abandonment of consoles in favor of phones of all things, is their own downfall. But at least for now, they appear to be investing in a variety of platforms.
Um, this basically just says that they're going to take Smartphone gaming more seriously. Nowhere does it say they'll be doing any less when it comes to console development. The Green Bar does not go down. We'll be fine. Please, dear God, read an article before you make a thread about it, especially one as short as that one. You have no excuse for being this misleading.
