For me, it would probably be Children of Mana. The game looked awesome, but the gameplay was WAY too repetitive...It had it's good parts, but you did the same thing OVER AND OVER! What about you guys?

The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask. Every time I go into again I try to believe it's the best Zelda game ever like many claim. Every time I do, I get burned. It's just really not my game, but I'm insane because I don't love it to pieces.

@PhoenixSage: Oh yeah, I forgot to mention OoT for me... It may not be my BIGGEST disappointment with a game, but it has yet to pull me in...and it was the first game I've ever downloaded EVER!

I actually share those same sentiments, Feenie. I just can't get used to the whole time dealie, no matter how hard I try.
The only other games I've really been disappointed in were Dead Rising and FF X.
Oh, and also... Bugs Bunny Crazy Castle 3 I was way too young when I bought that game. It was one of my first 3 Game Boy Color games, along with Link's Awakening DX and Wario Land 2.

Sonic the hedgehog 2. Its just not fun... I keep trying to love it, but I just dont like it... New Super Mario Bros Wii. Way too many dissapointments to say. I want to love it, just because its mario, but I really dont. I wish nintendo might follow sega's path and make a super mario bros 4 with 8 bit graphics on wiiware. Scribblenauts. Where are the proper nouns??!?!?!? Pretty fun though OoT: I hate these graphics. I know that is a dumb reason but I just dislike them. TP is way better. Still have to try MM though...
@Ricardo It could have been the be-all end-all game of forever, but it isn't. That said, there are times where it shines so bright that it takes interactive entertainment to a whole new level for me.

The first time I played I was confused as all heck, but once you get used to it, it`s AN AMAZING GAME!
Yeah, it's a dumb reason... =P Keep in mind that, 10 years ago, they were the best around. Also, Majora's Mask has exactly the same graphics as Ocarina of Time, so...
