Right after she confronted him about cheating, he presented her with her nicely wrapped 3DS which he had thoughtfully purchased when he got his. It was supposed to be her birthday present. I think the range of streetpass is roughly +- 30feet by what I've read on teh interweb. Plenty to reach the apartment next door. Or heck, even houses in some cases. They build em pretty close these days.
Regardless April 1st shenanigans notwithstanding, the article and it's source are rubbish.
@Magi, that was very funny. But I'm still amazed about how strong the signal is. I sometimes find Mii's that just walked by my house. Pretty impressive.

The wife makes me sick. Leaving a brand new 3DS in a closet for 3 days. D: That is such a neglectful waste of a beautiful piece of hardware. Who would want to be married to a woman who doesn't love a 3DS anyway?
This is the thread of the 3DS era. I mean, DUDE. That was just so ingenious. Thank goodness she finally caught him in the end. Seriously, what a chump for a husband.
