Topic: Best Wireless Router?

Once I heard that Flipnote Studio was in the DSi shop, I was disappointed because my wireless router (linksys WRT54G) had stopped working completely. Without a working router, I can't access the DSi shop or play games with wifi. We may buy another one, but each wireless router I've seen at Best Buy have gotten mixed reviews. Most even have connection problems. What wireless router has a good range, life-span, speed, and price. I need my wifi back

I have the same router! Mine works fine though

They have new models of Linksys routers if you want to try those.

Linksys is one of the best brands. Belkin-G is what I have and it works just fine despite some of the reviews written about it.

I was searching on Google for the best Linksys wireless router. I found that the linksys WRT54G2 router has gotten good reviews, and some bad ones. For some people, the thing actually slowed down internet speed. That really turns me off because my internet already runs like a snail If anyone has this version of the router, let me know if you've had problems like this.

@irken
The same one? Have you had any problems with yours? If you haven't, it may have something to do with my connection.

Mine works fine, I've had it for about 2 years so far. It works better than the wifi at my school anyway, I'd suggest getting a new model if you can, they look and (supposedly) run well

Don't base your decision simply on the bad reviews. Some people say that the model I use cannot change the name of the network, but that did not happen to me. Just don't buy a model that only receives bad reviews.

I swear by Linksys. Spent £150 four years ago and it still rocks, internal firewall, brilliant admin, firmware updates, and fast! I love it!

Rawr!

@Machu same here! me and my fried found some random linksys hotspot and it doesn't have a passcode (stupid peoples) so we go on it all the time and it never lags and its awesome

We tried re installing the router to see if it would work and now it's working fine . I just got Flipnote, so it definatley works. Hopefully it won't stop again. Thanks everyone for your comments.
