Nintendo have had a slew of unique titles, whether they be one-offs of spin-offs from previous games. And while many people love to praise Nintendo on their excellent revisions, I want to know one thing: What is Nintendo's best unique title?
As like several other tournaments on the forums go, Nintendo Life users (hopefully you ) will nominate a unique Nintendo title. After a worthy amount have been nominated, it goes into a tournament. In which you will vote among which title is better in which in every round.
Sounds Simple But wait! What are the requirements of being a "unique" Nintendo title?
1. Must be published by Nintendo in both North America and Europe
Nintendo doesn't have to develop the title, as long as they publish this unique title.
Example: The Wonderful 101 was developed by Platinum Games, however Nintendo published it. Therefore, it can be nominated for the tournament
2. Must be the only game in it's series, or must be the only title in the series with that genre
Example: Rusty's Real Deal Baseball is not directly affiliated with any other game Nintendo has published, therefore it can be nominated. Kid Icarus Uprising plays dynamically different from previous games in the Kid Icarus series. Therefore, it can be nominated. Kirby's Dream Course is a minigolf-like Kirby game, that doesn't play like any of the other Kirby games, therefore it can be nominated
3. *If the successors, and/or predecessors of the series that are only in Japan, leaving one title released in both North America and Europe, then it will likely be nominated
The Gameboy game X has a DSiware sequel X-Scape. Because X never released in North America, nor Europe, X-Scape can be nominated.
The nomination deadline will be May 9th
If there are any questions about the tournament, please ask me, and I'll answer them.
Well you already mentioned it in the original post, but I'm obliged to nominate Kid Icarus: Uprising.
It's the first thing that popped into my head that fits.
Maybe able to come up with others after some proper thought.
The current nominees: Dance Dance Revolution: Mario Mix Eternal Darkness Elite Beat Agents Kid Icarus Uprising Blast Corps
Unfortunately, Meteos cannot be part of the tournament due to the game becoming a franchise (according to Wikipedia). Startropics can also not be allowed due to the game having a sequel.
I'll reconsider if Disaster: Day of Crisis and Doshin the Giant being in, but they will have the disadvantage of North American players not being able to play it.
I nominate Kirby Air Ride. Can we nominate more than one?
I second this!

In that case, I nominate Kirby and the Amazing Mirror, Wario's Woods, The Pokemon Trading Card Game (GBC), and Kirby Canvas Curse.
lol other than Wario's Woods(didn't play this one yet) you picked all the ones I was going to say! XD

Oh right, I forgot Disney Meteos counted as a separate game (considering that, you know, it's a separate game). I don't know where my mind was.
