Without a doubt.

I've played plenty of strategy games over the years, and close runners up would include Total War: Rome, WH40k: Dawn of War and the Civilization series.

I used to have a blog link here. I'll put it back up when the blog has something to read.

Because of that game I literally thought the Scots won the Battle of Falkirk for years before someone pointed out that I was an idiot.

But it was still a lot of fun!

My other favourite strategy games... uh... Starcraft, Advance Wars (I go between liking and hating it), Total War. Also if we're counting strategy boardgames, then throw in Settlers of Catan and Ticket to Ride.
