i dident own a N64 so i havebt really any idea about its best game other than Ocarina of time and Majoras mask. And im wondering what N64 best looking games are, just to understand what power that console really had
Both Banjo & Kazooie games looked really good, though so do pretty much every Rare game. The pokemon stadium games looked pretty good but I wouldn't call them a test of power since most of the games consist of menus.

Yeah, I'd say Paper Mario is probably the game that's held up the best on that front.
And I think Majora's Mask has held up about as well as anyone could have possibly hoped for from that generation of 3D gaming, and it's great artistic style is a big reason for it. Same with Rare's later N64 games.
Anything made by Rare. N64 games have aged horribly! But I can still play Banjo, Conker's, Goldeneye and Donkey Kong and they still look amazing even on my hdtv.

Colors 3D:
A couple years ago, I bought Star Wars: Rogue Squadron for cheap on eBay. I have a 4MB memory expansion pak in my N64, so the game automatically runs in "high resolution" mode. I was amazed at how good that game still looks - surprisingly sharp and detailed. (It also sounds amazing.)
stsrwars episode one racer was antother one that used the expansion pack, and looks pretty good.
also, 1080 snowboarding has the best draw distance for any game of that era.
So many N64 games look gross, retrospectively. I still don't believe how Rare managed to squeeze out of that machine the power for all those advanced textures and lighting effects that are in Conker's BFD.
Bad graphics aside, the worst thing about N64 is that good looking games have awful framerates. Take aforementioned Turok 2. It looked quite nice, but for me it was literally unplayable because the framerate sucked.
I think Diddy Kong Racing looks pretty rad. It's art style has aged very well AND it had nice refresh rates.
