In terms of design, my favourite has to be DSi, specifically the black one, tied with the black Wii. Both stunning. Now, I don't know why, because I love my SP to pieces, but in terms of design I think it's down the bottom somewhere.
Virtual Boy is just in a completely different league of its own. It cannot be compared to other consoles - such a thing would be an insult to said other consoles.
@Cipher: Actually, the Virtual Boy can be compared to other Nintendo consoles, because it was made by Nintendo. In my book, a completely different league in terms for console design means that the Virtual Boy is in a different leagueo of awfulness, it's really that bad.
Hmmm.No love for the N64?? My vote goes to that, I really liked the look of it, kinda mean looking. The SNES (the UK version, obviously!!)would be a close second. Worst would probably be the NES. Though even that has some kinda 80's chic too it . I kinda like them all but it could be something to do with the associated memories . Pity this is limited to Nintendo consoles.I think it would be intresting to find out the overall favorite, handhelds too. Good topic.
wooooooh these glasses are like beer-goggles woooooh

There can only be one, like in that foreign movie where there could only be one, and in the end there is only one dude left, because that was the point.

Thanks for your comments, Luigi (and all), I completely agree - in fact, the N64 kind of reminds me of a V12 Vantage! ...And I know exactly what you mean about the NES and associated memories ...even the ugly duckling becomes a thing of incredible beauty once known intimately.
I thought the Gameboy Micro had a really slick look...too bad it's timing was rather awful.
Worst would probably be the virtual boy, solely for the fact that it was the only console that just didn't look "Nintendo"...for a reason I apparently can't put my finger on. I dunno, it looked like a cheesy pair of red-plastic-laden goggles. NES was a bit tough on the eyes too, but nostalgia keeps that from mattering

I've never owned one, but I like the design of the European SNES.
But the wii is really stylish. It really fits well in between all your other stuff like decoders, Blu-ray players, recorders and stuff placed under the tv.
