Topic: Best intro to a video game in your opinion.

Topic is self-explanatory.

Mine that I've seen recently would likely be Street Fighter Alpha 2's intro.

What yours?

Gosh, there are so many, I don't think I can name them all.

NMH or NMH2

No More Heroes 2 is pretty good, but Final Fantasy XII has the most exciting CGI movie intro I've seen.

WCW/NWO Revenge. Truck driver FTW.

Metroid Other: M
Monster Hunter Tri
and I also like Mario Strikers Charged.

The Munchables! It's funny and the music rocks.

I always liked the intro to Ocarina of time where Navi is flying around saying hello to all the Kokiri children. Then she runs into a fence and shakes her head. I like to pretend I'm navi and follow along as if I'm her running into the fence. LOL.

My favorite 3:
Super Metroid: "The last Metroid is in captivity. The galaxy is at peace." Hearing that always prepares me for the fantastic voyage ahead...
Super Mario Galaxy: The music is great, and hearing Mario scream the game title is icing on the cake.
Legend of Dragoon: I dunno, I always get a cryptic, somewhat entrancing feel from the intro. It always prepares me for the mysteries of what I will encounter when I play the game.

Sly 3's was pretty epic

DKC Returns has a pretty cool intro.

May not be the best, but it was epic =D

@Flandy Ah, the MGS2 opening is one of my all-time favourites.

In terms of recent games, both Uncharted 2 and Enslaved had phenomenal opening sections. Edge-of-seat kinda action for like a straight half-hour, then not too much of a slowdown as all the game mechanics get introduced.
