Topic: BCS National Championship tonight!

For those of you who keep up with college (American) football, the BCS National Championship is tonight @8:30 EST between the Alabama Crimson Tide and the Texas Longhorns. Two Heisman finalists: Mark Ingram (Alabama) and Colt McCoy (Texas) are facing off in this big game. What are your predictions, who do you want to win, etc. Your thoughts?

My prediction is that the Crimson Tide is gonna win

I think Alabama is prolly gonna win too, but I want Texas to win, if only because Colt McCoy is the most awesome (and appropriate) name ever. :3

The BCs is a load of bull... Seriously how can you say Alabama and Texas are the only two teams that deserve a shot at a national title this year. TCU, Boise State and Cincinnati also all went undefeated in the regular season. At least under the old system all five would have had a shot at being declared champion, even if it was decided that the title would be shared. Lets hope the NCAA decides to take playoff route in the future. I would hate to be on TCU, Boise or Cincy, to go undefeated and yet be told that you can't contend for the national championship.

Having a hundred individual bowl games makes so much more money than a playoff system would.

Hobbes, Cincy got DESTROYED by Florida. It's obvious they were not worthy of a Championship shot. Same goes for TCU which lost to Boise. The only team which really has a right to gripe, at this point, is Boise.

Wish I could follow more than the NFL from Sweden, and even there I'm reduced to a NFL torrent site. Patriots fan here btw, haven't missed a game in 4 years.

How does college football compare to the NFL? Any good?
