After his incredible boring and painful presentation at E3 I dont care at all about this movie.
OK then, you're loss. I thought Titanic was the biggest pile of **** EVER! But I love Aliens and Terminator and Terminator 2, so I'm not about to blow this off because of Kate Winslet in the nud.
I've heard a bit about this movie, but I still fail to see what the hype is all about... Although that post about it being Waterworld 2010 got me a little excited lol

This is for the movie only. Anyway, it looks like it has a fairly generic fantasy plot, but with a big budget.

I think it's all the hype that's killing this for me. Just tell me a cool story and I'll be happy, but brag on and on about how your flick is going to change the world of film as we know it and you have officially made me not care anymore. It has stuff I should like in it: robo mech type suits- check, nifty aliens that look like cats dipped in blueberry juice- check, the guy who played the T-1000 being a bad guy- check, trying to make a social commentary through sci fi- check. I should dig this, but honestly what I've seen just makes me want to watch District 9 again.
I disagree, strongly. But please come back and share your thoughts once you've seen the film.
I can't wait to see this, it reminds me of Aliens. Admittedly, it'll never be as good as that, but I'm still looking forward to seeing hi-tech marines dudes battling with the natives. Visuals look awesome!
Unobtainium, gotta love that name. [youtube:Bv3lRl8HO9M]
@Tony: Halo?! Oh god! Space Marines existed long before flipping Halo, and the ones in this film look a lot closer to those in Aliens, and look nothing like Master Chief and his merry men. No pu55y a55 shields for starters.
You are right, they did say that in The Core. You made me check Wiki, and now I'm disappointed I didn't know already, what seems to be a widely used term, interesting stuff.
@Magi: Aliens was an awesome movie, but I don't see how it could possibly have that same atmosphere...or that guy who said f*** many times until he was killed... But it may have flamethrowers, which is always a +.

Revive point indeed sir. Love that av btw, always have, awesome game!
You're right about the atmosphere, I don't expect the same claustrophobic awkwardness like Aliens, but I do expect kick ass battles with conventional weapons and mini-mechs. YES! BRING IT! BOOOOM!
