Topic: Attn Staff: Why don't YOU read and respond to feedback forum?

I am completely fed up with this. On April 12th I simply asked if the number of blocks for 3DS downloads could be listed. I posted this in feedback. Never a response. You list prices thats on the eshop you can do this. I then two days ago asked this in 3ds eshop forum I got a snarky "look at eshop" response.

All you had to do was respond "yes we will", "no we won't" or "we will consider it" how long does that take to write?

5 days ago I asked if Classic Card and Puzzle Game could be reviewed. No response from feedback forum.

This is unprofessional of you not to bother to respond to SIMPLE questions and requests in your feedback. I am posted this here hoping BlackDragon who I believe works here or someone since this is a popular forum is a staff member.

Get over it. IIRC, Chicken Brutus did respond to you. He said before you hit download on the eShop, it tells you there what the block size is. Creating a topic demanding that the staff respond to your request is pathetic.

By that logic why list the price since the eshop has that to. Also why is there a feedback forum then? For people to waste time writing to it?

Perhaps people didn't know the answer?

Also I am not the only one who thinks listing block size is a good idea.

Have you tried emailing them instead of creating another pointless topic here in the forums?

To be fair I'd like block size listed as well. As far as I know you need to have enough money in your eShop account to purchase the software before it will show you the size - otherwise when you select 'Download' it will just prompt you to add funds. I'd rather know the sizes before adding money to my account in case I don't have enough space.

If you have a problem and want to get in touch with the staff the best way to do is as bezerker99 has said. Use the contact form at the bottom of the page. That is sure to get a response from the admin, rather than a thread that they may not see. You have to remember the staff have real lives too then dont just sit in front of their computer waiting to respond to threads. Give them a chance to respond back they could be at work or something.

I don't know who you think you are, but demanding an answer for a question doesn't work around here. If it was a question for the staff, you should have used contact link that below the web page.

But since I'm such a nice guy, I got you some blocks.

Maybe you can use these blocks to learn to how to talk to people.

For you, the day LordJumpMad graced your threads, was the most important day of your life. But for me, it was Tuesday.

Did you try the contact form, located near the bottom of the page, just above the Top Stories/Hot Games/Stay Connected section? They're often quick on the draw, there. Like, within 48 hours at most from what I've seen. Going to the forum is not exactly the quickest way to talk to the staff.

Thanks, but as the staff member who gave you that response it was not snarky. One of your fellow commenters pointed out that you can check the eShop, and I agreed. Sorry that's the best workaround at present, but get in touch with Nintendo if you want them to include the block sizes in the press releases. Since they don't anymore, checking the eShop is the only way to find them.

The snark, to put it gently, began when you responded to my post of agreement with aggression, being confrontational and asking what my problem was, as though I was the obstacle between you and your wealth of block size information. I don't respond to people who choose to speak to me that way unprovoked. I don't think you'll find many people who will, at least not constructively.

As other folks have mentioned feel free to use our contact form if you want to make sure we see something. Otherwise we may not. We work at this site for free, have personal lives, other jobs and other site duties to attend to, so of course won't see everything posted, let alone have time to respond to it. I only saw this because it was reported by several other forum goers, which should show you that we're not the only ones who think your approach might need some work.

Play nice. This is a warning from your snarky mod who never reads or responds to you.
