In all seriousness though I am guessing that you knew that TBD was going to be stepping down so what were your thoughts when it was decided for you to take her spot?

Honest question: Why does NL frown upon reviving old threads (assuming the post genuinely contributes in some way)? Also, how long has this 'six month' limit on reviving old threads been in effect for? I've only ever seen amiibo cite it as a reason to lock a thread, as far as I can recall. It seems arbitrary.
A few months ago, we were having a big issue with users reviving five year old threads for no apparent reason. However, I was under the impression that the rule created as a result of this abuse was that a thread was considered dead after two years. Not sure when it was changed to six months....
Formally called brewsky before becoming the lovable, adorable Yoshi.
Now playing:
Final Fantasy XIV (PC) | The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening (Switch) | Celeste (Switch)

It's always been six months as long as I can remember. I want to say it was @James that came up with rule back when he was in charge and it just stayed that way even after he left.

Eh tbh, we frown upon excessive necroposting. If you revive one old thread for constructive purposes (i.e. bringing back Rodea for example), we wouldn't really mind. If you revive like 10 old threads, then we would have a problem.
I know this question is pretty generic, but how is it like to be a mod? It seems pretty tough, but fun to do.
It's not as hard as it seems, at least until those trolls come marching in.

I don't recall setting a limit. As I said earlier, we generally frown upon excessive necroposting. I suppose six months is a fair cut off though. Again, it depends on the thread and the post.
@TingLz What other user names did you have before?
