I voted for the Dutch Green Party with the EU elections in June. I thought they had good ideas on economy and environment and those are things Brussels should be concerned about. And they were relatively vocal against the far-right and nationalistic tendencies that are spreading in my once very liberal and tolerant country like a filthy disease. The bigger parties don't seem to able to cope with this because they are afraid to lose even more votes to the far right. That still happens because they don't show any leadership because they are afraid to speak out against it. Our Labour Party is going down to the road of their UK sister party and they say they value social-democratic values but don't seem to be able to agree what that means anymore. And the other left is just too eurosceptic here which I think doesn't help us one bit as a small country.
If I was American I would vote democratic. I would be in favor of a more open multi-party system if I was though. There might have been some minor party candidates that I would have prefered over the Democratic Party.
I'm a registered republican but I hate politics people judge partys based on the evil politicians. The thing is ALL Politicains are dirty, you cant trust any of them. Obama's stimulas money... it never touched the economy! it all went to various places over seas. Jobs are becoming more scarce, the government has grown polluted and corrupt

I'm not planing any thing I'm just agreeing with whats been said. look with the way things are going something of the sorts is bound to happen and it wouldn't be the first time a country/empire collapsed/fell... chances are with the world economy the way it is... we wont be the only ones going down. a world has gone to shit, humanity spiraling down to self destruction. planning?? I'm not planning any this just sating the inevitable. we are all gunna be screwed, of course whats left of humanity will recover

Nixon was crooked, but sadly he is a breath of fresh air compared to the politicians today. In fact, EVERY PRESIDENT before George H.W. Bush is a breath of fresh air. I have not seen a good president since, and all our presidents had made our country worse (including Obama, he certainly has not helped the USA). I have about given up on voting. The only reason I might vote for a Republican is because they are the lesser of two evils. Bush Jr. made the Republicans look horrible and the party has gone downhill since.
I'm afraid that CowLaunch needs to be overthrown. After all, he is just a penguin. Since I now declared myself king, my first royal feast will consist of stuffed penguin.

This argument pisses me off, because it's probably one of the stupidest arguments I've ever heard. That's like saying an entire team is, and always will be horrible because a few years back they had a player who wasn't very good.
If I had to pick, I would definitely be democrat. I hardly agree with any of their theories besides a few, but that's definitely better than none for republicans. They either spend WAY too much money or they want as much as they can save for the budget, even though most of the times something needs to happen sooner rather than later. Not to mention they supported one of the most morally wrong facilities ever created, Guantanamo Bay, as well as Bush being one of them. I despise Democrats, but golly, the Republicans are much, MUCH worse.

The Republicans of today are not for workers' rights. They are all about maximizing profits for the CEOs. So if Bush Jr and Lincoln were Presidents in reversed times, I don't see Bush Jr. freeing the slaves or Lincoln invading Iraq.
