Topic: Are There Any Other Musicians Here?

I was think about how a lot of people seem to play instruments so I was wondering who plays an instrument here, what do you play, how long, and what kind of music you play?
I guess I'll start since I'm starting this thread. I play several instruments my main ones being cello, bass, guitar, and piano. I've played an instrument for 9 years. I like to try playing themes from video games and lately I've been playing jazz, and vaudeville type stuff.
Well, that's my bit. I'm very interested in what other people might play.

I've been told I play a pretty mean radio. I don't like to brag though...

I'm a vocalist, and I play a little piano, though my voice is my first instrument. I've been going to school for music for the past 4 years, though I stopped because I can't afford it anymore. I'm going back this semester. I've gotten some paid gigs and stuff, but what I really want to do is teach.

I've toyed with a few instruments in my time but the guitar is the only one that has stuck. If I'm not picking and strumming aimlessly, I'm trying to recreate a song I love through trial and error. I also like to record samples for use in Cakewalk and shtuff, though they never seem to go anywhere. Just another beginning to a song that will never be complete.

Oh, and I was in a band when I was in my teens. I played rhythm and did backing vocals. We even had a couple of gigs. Then life took over and we all went our separate ways. Meh!

I play drums in 2 bands and i r gewd at teh drumz too.

i'm learning guitar at the moment. i much prefer the electric guitar, but i'm learning the acoustic first as apparently you learn to recognise notes more easily if you start from there.

I'm about as musical as a physically impaired pet rock, so that would be a no.

I've been playing the drums for almost 26 years. Used to do some local studio recording in this area and played in bands throughout high school and college. Still play, just not as often as I used to.

I've been learning bass guitar for a couple of years. I don't know why I decided to play bass. It just kinda happened.

Hmm.. I don't know. It doesn't really hit in the face as hard as Rick Roll does.

I used to learn classical guitar. It was fun. Mostly I'm just a music appreciator now though.

Vocalist, I don't really know my style, maybe Rock and classical? I would of learned how to play the guitar but I never had a proper teacher.

I've played trumpet for about 2.5 years now. I like to compose music in WarioWare: D.I.Y.

i've always wished i could play some sort of music or especially to be able to compose my own ditties... unfortunately that's just not an area in which i have any talent whatsoever.

I like to play on the piano sometimes (even though I'm not the best at it); but I'm really good at singing (I'm in a school choir).
