For me: Spec wise, I'm impressed. It seems like quite a powerful device. But it's all ruined by the phone's gigantic size. I'm really disappointed Apple didn't go the Sony Xperia Z3 route and made a 4.6" screen in a phone the size of the iPhone.

Now playing:
Final Fantasy XIV (PC) | The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening (Switch) | Celeste (Switch)
my thoughts on the new iphone? don't need it. don't want it. hate that even children and 80 year old grandpas who don't even know how to use smartphones yet they have such things.

Half of those things have been on iPhone for years. Some of those things aren't even necessarily positive features. Software buttons are annoying (though much better than capacitive buttons), and with portable devices (so laptops and below), bigger screen size has never been necessarily better (it comes with increased weight and worse handling), and wireless charging has been around since the Palm Pre, and has been a gimmick since then.
Apple is an ok company. They definitely get alot of support from the mass amount of marketing done.
I do have a 1st Generation Ipad, and while I still use it ocasionally, it has shown it's age.
I also have a Mac home computer. It's mostly for browsing. I don't hate the Mac, but I do think there are better computers out there.

I'm not one of the blind sheep being shepherded by the ghost of Steve Jobs so I don't care about the iPhone 6, iWatch, or Apple Pay but Mac's PC operating systems have been putting a beatdown on Microsoft's garbage systems for years.
I've had an iPod Touch 5th Gen for a couple years now, and love it. It's what I primarily use for browsing the internet and watching YouTube nowadays, plus it's camera is way better than any other digital camera I've ever owned. I download iOS 8 the moment it came out (Surprisingly it only took a couple hours to downdownload and install) and I'm pretty happy with it. I think it slowed down my device a tiny bit, but not so much so it's ruined. (I should be wary when iOS 9 comes out though) Most of the new features are things I don't really have any need for, but the interactive notifications and the improvements to the camera are amazing improvements.
I'm not a fan of the new size of the phones. I have an 5c so I can hold out for a while. I am interested in the the watch though. I'll likely get one Christmas 2015.

I know I'll get hate for this (obviously cuz it's an opinion), but I generally don't like Apple all too much. I have an iPhone and I gotta say it feels very linear with what you can do. If you wanna add music, it's only from iTunes. I'd like to listen to music of any format without having that kind of restriction. I don't want to have to hack my phone just to listen to mp3's. My iPhone is an old model though, the iPhone 4 to be exact.
As for Mac, it isn't to my liking since I use a couple of 3D programs that aren't compatible with it, like 3DSMax. However, most game designers are switching over to Mac to develop their games (unless you're making Unity games in which both PC and Mac are fine), because colleges are using them. I gotta say though, I really like Mac. I still use a PC because it's more of a matter of preference and certain programs that are compatible with PC.
As for the watch, I'm not getting it. I don't use watches in general. This video does have a say in the initial impressions with the watch and the iPhone 6.

Well, now iPhone has a bigger screen, and one of the biggest things Apple has always said was important was screen clarity, which they can'e even match to other phones. Apple should have been doing this stuff years ago. I wasn't talking about every feature; just specific ones like multitasking, better screens, etc.
Everybody said they would hate if iPhone had a bigger screen, but now they love it, because Apple is doing it.
I like the products Apple makes but I strongly dislike the concept of paying twice as much because something "just feels a bit nicer". Which is essentially Apple's entire business plan. "Just feeling a bit nicer" gets you an extra 10-20% on the price tag, no more!
After I updated my ipad and iPhone to ios 8, the keyboard got 20% slower, 30% glitchier and 90% more stupid with its corrections (and lack of them) and suggestions.
It's specially harsh on my ipad, where it often crashes safari and I struggle to open the "select, copy, paste" mini menu (it disappears as soon as it appears).

Every new feature iOS 8 added or adjusted is terrible now. Why am I forced to have an iCloud account now? Why did they get rid of camera roll? Why would I want a smiley library built into the keyboard when everything that uses them has their own convenient list of smileys (okay, except for this site...)? And why do the smileys they offer look so freakin' stupid?!
I guess some of the browser features are okay, but the hiding and unhiding tab bar is distracting so far, and there are a lot of bugs now.
I knew I shouldn't have updated. You know how many things I had to delete to make room for this stupid update?! The next update better come with a freakin' time machine feature. And better not be buggy. <_<
