Minimal dialogue and emotion won't be difficult to mirror. Though, it doesn't matter, he could have the acting chops of Bryan Cranston and the fans would still be upset.
Just for you. "I'm just a musical prostitute, my dear." - Freddie Mercury
Well, can we always judge someone by past performances? An actor can always turn out a terrible performance simply due to the source material being no good and them having nothing to work with.
But someone a bit better at acting would still be a better choice for Link I guess.
On another note... how do you think the special effects would work in this? Zelda's not exactly known for being an overly 'realistic', down to earth fantasy series. Heck, even the trailer for Majora's Mask 3D would blow a TV season's budget within about three minutes:
I wouldn't mind something that didn't feature Link. Either a story set in the canon but not from any of the games, or the story of one of the games from a different character's perspective. Seeing the events of Majora's Mask from Kafei or Anju's view would be something I'd personally like.
I would guess that when Netflix said they where in the early stgages they were in talks and now Nintendo is saying that is incorrect because nothing came from those talks. Anyone else notice that Nintendo news is getting blown out of proportion a lot recently? First rumors of this Zelda series everyone took as fact and now the NX that everyone is writing about without any information.
People keep saying the Xbox One doesn't have Backwards Compatibility.
I don't think they know what Backwards Compatibility means...

Isn't that just journalism in general these days. When we first got rumors of the apple watch people jumped on it until the ting was shown, the same thing happened at the initial announcement of the Netflix Marvel series.
The news gets stretched for Nintendo because outside of a few times of the year they're a fairly boring company compared to Microsoft and Sony so seeing them tackle many different avenues is nice click bait.

He says not correct information. The Wall Street Journal is pretty on point for tech news. My guess is that the show is antimated and not live action.
Actually if you read the WSJ article, it mentions no source at all. It even says "no comment" from both Netflix and Nintendo. It has no credibility at all

None of these articles usually have any defined sources to be fair. When it comes to film reporting most people say no comment until the news is officially released. Jason Momma kept saying he wasn't Aquaman despite the fact he was clearly seen in Detroit at the time of filming,
But if talks did fall apaprt I wonder if was due to direction with Netflix wanting to go a game of thrones light, and the exposure nitnendo wanted wouldn't be helped with Netflix.
