Episode 9 just finished airing on NBC: the greatest episode so far in my opinion. Anyone else watch this either in the U.K. or here in the U.S. ? Comment if you watch Merlin!

I watched the pilot, seemed ok. But it's a bit too Robin Hood/Doctor Who for me, yuk. I think British drama is crap not very good.
Not the response you were hoping for I'm sure. Glad the Beeb are selling stuff over there (and making money) I love the beeb as much as the Queen.
The pilot was very meh, but the later episodes (with exceptions of 2 and 7 IMO) are very good. The episode that aired last night (Excalibur) was awesome. Also, Merlin is a "you like it or you don't show" lol

I pretty much agree with this statement. As i mentioned, episodes 1, 2, and 7 were my least favorites. I just finished watching the finale on Youtube- great show overall + great cliffhanger ending.

I only saw one episode so far of the new Sci-Fi Merlin series! Was with the undead knight, Merlin had a special sword forged from the Dragon, & Uther fought the Knight while Arthur was kept locked inside his room!
Also I'm actually a big fan/love the movie Merlin with Sam Niel, Miranda Richardson, Issabella Rosaline, & Martin Short!

Great episode to get introduced to the series. I will also have to rent Merlin (the movie you mentioned) on DVD!

I saw the first 2 episodes and have the rest recorded on my dvr. I enjoyed what I saw and am looking forward to watching the rest of the episodes. I'm a sucker for any sci-fi or fantasy shows.
