Topic: Anyone up to making a game?

Using something simple like Game Maker but making something original. Everyone would be involved doing separate sections. Or sprites, concept levels, coming up with enemies, coding, story. Anyone?

I made some enemies concept designs here, going over to paint see if I can do a sprite, with pixel art. I know a lot of people who are good with animating pixel art here.

If not, doesn't even have to be a Mario game! You guys in?
We could make music in Mix Superstar, mostly new Mario games don't have the same Ground Theme.

Wow, those are some great concept sketches. I'd like to help anyway I could, though I know other users that are way better at pixel art and animation than I am. I can also do... something in the way of music, though like I said, there are other users here better at that stuff than me Untitled

All input helps, everyone has ideas, if we can all agree into them we can make something good. I just don't know jip on how to make the proper psychics and make him jump using code on Game maker. We would be like a round table, sharing ideas, changing... and testers. Oh we will need testers!

I would like to test! but as I'm not familiar with any game making program, nor have any experience at all when it comes to making games - I won't be much of a help. I do come up with some good ideas once in a while though.

EDIT: I can help with the ideas of monster designs and such, map design, story. such things, if needed of course.

Of course! Though I have no idea what to do for the story and even how the maps are going to be/functions. Feel free to storm, don't need to be restricted.
Btw Tick-Pick changed a bit during transition... I like the owl like eyes.

I really like the Palapas, great job with that one. But with Tick-Pick, the colors don't really mesh well with me. Also, as a platforming enemy, how would you go about defeating it? If this is a Mario type game, I'd imagine that the player will be jumping on the enemy's heads, but with the sprite you made the thing shooting out of it's head seems kinda weird if you'd be jumping on it. Idk, just a thought :3

This looks really cool, you're certainly a talented artist. If you made it your own IP rather than a Mario fangame (most of those character designs would stand alone very well), in the right hands you could have a nice little indie game here.
