Topic: Anyone on or going on any trips lately?

I'm on vacation in Egypt atm(which I'm loving for the most part), since I had to use my PTO before the end of the year anyways and it was at the top of my list, so figured I'd pop this question while I'm awake for a little.

I don't know what the future holds, but I do have an idea for maybe a similar trip, but elsewhere, this upcoming year sometime.

I've always been interested in travel.

Has anyone else been on any trips lately or have one or more planned? It doesn't even have to necessarily be foreign/international.

I'm currently on an early winter vacation. We first went to Arizona, just for two days, and currently we are in Chihuahua. In some days we'll return to Arizona to spend a week or two more there.

Maybe with some luck we could visit a certain theme park in California on our trip back home. Probably not.

Traveling these long distances in a tiny car with the family is tiring, but very worth it.

I‘m not one who likes to leave the house, even if it‘s just one day. My last vacation has been years ago, too. The week before XY released, I was in Barcelona, visited the Sagrada Familia (stupid me just had to take the lift up into one of the towers, pass the lift down and be forced to walk all the way down despite my claustrophobia. Had sweated pretty much any water out of my body on my way down that I almost threw up), Park Güell, the Olympic stadium and La Pedrera where I bought a walking stick, even though neither me nor anyone in my family needs one. I might not be the happiest camper before, during or directly after trips but I really do look back on them fondly.

One day, I wanna visit LA and go to E3 but this is years away as it‘s just so expensive getting there.

In 2 weeks I'll be in China for the third time just for 3 days, next is UK for the first time and I'm so excited, been a dozen of time in middle east before the political games of war devastated some of the most beautiful countries over there, went to HK once and i love it.
I also love traveling, used to be an "otaku" till i grew up and found out that life is like your own RPG adventures just travel to unknown lands, some times you hit then you got hit.
The Switch is just perfect when all of your time is either work, marriage preparations, kids planning, traveling ....it just keeps that side of me happy and fun

My last Trip was at Kampoeng Kidz.
Me with my students and all teachers had a Field Trip at Kampoeng Kidz, Batu - East Java.
It took approximate 3 hours from Surabaya to Batu. Kampoeng Kidz is kind of Natural Resort with Outdoor Activities, Agriculture, Animal Breeding and Live Show.

I rarely go on trips, although recently I have been visiting Chicago due to one of my sisters living there. Still not as often, though.

@TidusUK China...for only 3 days though? Is it part of one of those tour packages where you go through different territories in a set amount of time?

And you're right about the Switch being good in these cases. Heck, my first flight before I hit my layover was roughly 9 hrs so it definitely helped pass the time, like the promos for it suggest.

@Meowpheel If I had the time, I'd def be doing a road trip myself cross country, but idk who I could have tag along that I won't have to suffer with, heh. :3

@Lalivero nope not like that, I'm going back there to settle things with my ex so i just need a couple of working days, the trip got postponed to dec 19th and I'll be back by 24th

I had planned to take another vacation but then I got cancer...bummer story but it's true.

My friend and I are going to Tokyo for New Years. Gonna go bar hopping, see the new full sized Gundam, and have a Switch Marathon in the hotel... not necessarily in that order. lol
