I'm looking for someone who has an active Nintendo Power subscription going to the December 2012 issue and isn't attached to their magazines. Hit me up if this is you. Thanks!
I havent had an active subscription since the N64 days. Just to let you know that the December issue is the last issue so if someone does have a sub I would be surprised if they will just want to get rid of that one. Your best bet is just hit a store that sells NP and by a copy from them.

Yea, they never sent me a notice to let me know mine was running out. I didn't realize it until I didn't get a couple of issues. Tried to call, wouldn't let me subscribe. The customer service reps seemed to not have a clue about their product, they kept arguing with me that the subscriber covers were different. I may just keep harassing them until they send me free copies of the last 4 issues.
I just squeezed into the time frame for the final issue. It'll be a bittersweet end to an old friend of mine.
Sorry to those that don't though.

I want to make this same request.
My dad got me started on this magazines when I was a kid (was born in 89) and I was subscribed to the magazine almost up until I got married last year....I really wish I could get that subscribers edition of that last issue..
online games include: Mario Kart 8, Mario Kart 7, Smash Bros Wii U and 3DS, Super Mario Maker and Splatoon.

I'm now thinking ill buy a copy from the store and leave my subscription copy unopened. I wonder if they will do multiple covers. Might make the value increase for which ever ones we get!

If I was only ever able to have Monster Hunter and EO games in the future, I would be a happy man.
I'm looking for the subscriber cover because I have all the subscriber covers up to that point.
I'm still pretty upset with how they did me on it. I mean, if they had sent out subscription reminders like normal, I would've got in before they cut off renewals....
I would say then that your best bet is to go the Ebay route. Sure, the price will probably be three times the newsstand rate, but if you got no other options, go for it.

I agree Ebay will probably be your only route for a subscribers edition if you dont have an active sub like you have stated. And no offense but shouldn't it be up to you to keep track of your sub not the company?

They probably never sent a reminder because they knew long before it leaked that they were cancelling by the end of the year. I always got renewal notices.

Still when I had an active sub to NP along with other magazines I always knew when my sub was up, I didn't need a reminder cause it was something that I enjoyed and wanted to keep getting.
My subscription end date moved a lot for various reasons, so I didn't realize it was up until I didn't get my September issue, and by that time they weren't accepting renewals.
