Its going to be an ECW reunion show and alot of the people from the original ECW (Before ECW went bankrupt and WWE bought it out) are going to be in it.

I have been a big pro wrestling fan since they days of Hulk Hogan and Andre the Giant I have watched it on and off throughout the years watching WWE, WCW, and TNA. One of my favorites was ECW back in the mid to late 90's. I guess mainly what I liked about it was how different it was from the other 2 major wrestling companies at the time. Plus I liked alot of their wrestlers like Tazz, Rob Van Dam, Sandman and Sabu just to name a few. I was so excited when I heard that TNA was doing this reunion show I cant wait to hear the chants of ECW ECW ECW throughout the crowd again. This is supposedly going to be the last reunion show for ECW since WWE decided to drop the name a few months ago. Since WWE screwed it all up anyway.

So any wrestling fans out there? Anyone else going to see this PPV?

I really wanted to -- also being a wrestling fans since the days of Hogan, Andre and the original Four Horseman, as well as a big fan of ECW (the real ECW), but i stopped getting wrestling PPVs a while ago. $45 (HD price) is a bit too much. Should be a pretty cool show; loved the ending of the last episode of Impact, with Sandman showing up and caning everyone!

She-Ra is awesome. If you believe otherwise, you are clearly wrong.
Urban Champion is GLORIOUS.

Yeah I know what you mean about the price usually I only get Wrestlemania and thats it for the year but I just had to get this one. Hopefully they will bring it out on DVD/Blu-Ray here soon and you can get a chance to see it than. I have to say it brought back alot of memories.

It was alright. the surprise I was hoping for didn't happen though. First TNA PPV i've watched and it was entertaining. I hated the lighting though. I don't know if their other PPVs are that way though. They may have been trying to make it feel like a dark bingo hall

I'll defiinitely check it out when released on DVD (or if i can find someone who recorded it). In general, i've enjoyed most of the TNA PPVs i've seen but can't say the same for WWE PPVs, though WM is always awesome -- i was actually at WM 20 at MSG to see Benoit win the title (which seriously rocked, as he was my favorite wrestler until the whole ... well, you know) and Goldberg and Lesnar booed out of the building (hilarious, and the DVD release totally scrubbed out how loud the crowd was during that one).

I expected more..., I think my expectations were working against it, but it truly was boring. They should've set it up better, have it in PA or the Hammerstein and have an actual buildup, so the real fans could attend. ECW fans are the funniest, they are truly part of the experience. The crowd at the event would cheer at anything/everything, but ...it was boring.

@y2Josh: Yeah that lighting isnt normal for a TNA PPV I think they were just trying to capture the mood of ECW.

@the shpydar: Thats cool you got to see a WM live. I have been to both Raw and Smacksdown live and I went to last years Great American Bash PPV but I have yet to see a WM live. I agree with you though lately WWE just seems to be bland. Too many of my favorites like The Rock and Stone Cold and now Shawn Michaels and even more that I could list either are retired or dead. Others that I like, Rob Van Dam, The Dudleyz, Mr. Anderson etc. are now on TNA. Now I read that Batista is gone. They seriously need to kick it up a notch if they are going to compete against TNA.

I've yet to see a TNA (or most of the WWE) PPV that was worth it's price. I usually check them out through other means later.
