Topic: Anyone else find Fallout 3 EXTREMELY boring?

I played about 2 hours total, escaped the fault and it's soooooo boring. The enemy thing is cool with VATS but other then that it sucks (for me) It says "Explore Megaton" so I do that HOW ****ING BIG IS MEGATON!?

Use your map, not your eyes...I can't blame ya for complaining, but really, just use your map and you'll be fine.

Can't you fast-travel to certain towns? I know I did that once when I got stuck. You can also turn down the difficulty if you want. The defaults pretty rough.

I tried using the map and I still don't understand it...lol. I got as far as that kid asking me to kill the fire ants and super duper mart....too far?

I wasn't a fan of the game, but I did play it for 10 hours to build that impression first.

Honestly, with any RPG, you should reserve judgement for when you actually get into the game.

Yeah...Go back. I got trashed at the Super Market many times. Had to tone the difficulty down, too.

Nope, 80 hours put into the game w/ all of the achievements. Fantastic game.

Also, http://www.gamefaqs.com/ is a godsend if you get stuck, especially in an RPG. Be sure to check it out and delve a bit deeper before passing judgment.

Yep, i played it over 100 hours and every minute was great, i love it to walk all over the wasteland and meet people
I am Lv. 30, all of my Stats are 100 and ALL my s.p.e.c.i.a.l. stats are on 10
You must play it longer, its a little hard for beginenrs but if you play it a while, you understand everything ^^
many people thinked it is boring, but 1 day later when they played again they are like : OMFG Fallout is my life !

130+ hours for me Loved it, but put so much time into it I still haven't touched Vegas.

It takes time to get into, like about 6-10 hours, and if you still haven't just been griped by wandering around looting and running like mad from everything trying to kill you, then it's just not the game for you, though playing straight through the games main story mode is actually only like 15 hours long.

I played for a few hours, got out of the vault, and as I was shooting everything that moved in the school, it froze on me. I'm too scared to see how far back I'll have to restart from. But I'll go back to it eventually, as I never really got into it, but I'll be making sure I save very often.

This game is the type you need patience for, it take quite a few hours to get into Fallout 3, which is one of the best games ever made. The only gripe I have with Fallout 3 is the @$#$ glitches!
