Cyanide & Happiness is my favorite, I check their site every day. Adventurers! is good too. It ended in 2006, but a while ago I spent a few days reading through the entire thing.
Honestly, I'm a big fan of Penny Arcade. It could be because I'm from Seattle and I love just about everything the city- but I truly like their creative process. VG Cats is and Digital Unrest are also pretty good!
I'm finally caught up with Original Life and reading through Better Days again through to Chapter 7. I liked Original Life, it's very fun to read, and the current Story arc is very intriguing. However, I have to say, I'm enjoying Better Days a lot more. It's just so much more dramatic and has a lot more raw character development. Plus it's interesting to see the characters grow up as the series goes on. Honestly, as much as I love VG Cats, Penny Arcade, DMFA, and recently Original Life, if I had to recommend a web comic, it would probably be Better Days.
I finally finished Better Days and read the latest Original Life.
Better Days is still very much a recommended read. The art is great, the story's pretty good, and there's plenty of character development which I don't see too often in web comics. I enjoyed the ending, too, and it seemed to get more light-hearted near the end.
I have a feeling this latest arc in Original Life will be long. It's nice to have a story-based arc again instead of a series of jokes, but I don't think I'll be keeping up with it until this arc's done, since the wait is killing me. I just need to put it outta my mind for a while.
