Topic: Anybody Here Read Webcomics?

If so, what comics do you read? Personally, I read VG Cats by Scott Ramsoomair (my personal favorite), Dan & Mab's Furry Adventures by Amber M. Williams (though I haven't read it in a long time) and Better Days by Jay R. Naylor (been reading this one a lot lately). I also occasionally read Pokey The Penguin by an annonymous group known as the authors.

I read VG cats spin-off (of sorts) Super Effective, I read Brawl in the Family, and I've very recently read the entirety of Buttersafe, which I just found last week, and think is utterly hilarious in the "it's just so stupid, it's funny" tradition. I'd definitely recommend the first two to anyone on NL, and the second to anyone who likes to laugh.

I read SinFest (Calvin and Hobbes for grownups? HELL YES), Phil Likes Tacos (REALLY underrated gem that deserves more attention. It's one part video game jokes and another part about Phil's horrible day job), Homestuck (not sure if that counts but you HAVE to read it if you haven't already, most brilliant thing on the internet), and...I think that's it.

I only read webcomics once, and that was because I heard Megaman EXE had his own manga. It's called Megaman NT Warrior and I very much enjoyed it.

I forgot about Super Effective. I find it to be a bit more hit & miss than the main VG Cats comic, but it's still pretty good, and probably easier to recommend since it relies les on shock humor. I like how well the humor is delivered without the main character ever speaking a word. I might check out that Homestuck, I've been hearing a lot about it lately.

Oh my gosh, yes! I totally forgot about Super Effective. And VG Cats. The face expressions are hilarious. I love Red's expression when he catches that Zubat after it confused all his pokemon.

My problem with webcomics is that there are so freaking many of them. The market is absolutely flooded with some of the best and some of the absolute worst comics that you could possibly read.

That being said, I do enjoy Perry Bible Fellowship, Hark, a Vagrant, and Castle Vidcons.

Girl Genius (steampunk adventuring and all-around awesomeness)
Dr. McNinja (he is a doctor who is also a ninja~)
The Perry Bible Fellowship (they don't really update anymore, but it's still on my list just in case lol... i love the mix of art styles)
Wapsi Square (if he doesn't start the story moving again soon, though, and quit waffling around, i'm probably gonna drop it)
Three Panel Soul (i used to read MacHall on and off)

Between Failures - Hilarious webcomic about life in retail.
Heroes, Inc. - Quite possibly the best sprite comic currently on the internet.
Pictures of You - An incredibly entertaining tale of a group of friends in college. Warning, though, some pages a NSFW.
Goblins - Anyone into fantasy stuff will enjoy this comic thoroughly.

This one was hilarious. I'll have to read more of it over the weekend. The rest look pretty good, too.

I just remembered, I also read Penny Arcade, Original Life, and 8-Bit Theater.

Penny arcade I doubt needs introduction, but just in case, it's a Video game-centric comic. It's pretty funny, though IMO it has seen better days.

Original Life is a slice of life comic staring anthropomorphs, from the maker of Better Days. I actually enjoyed it more than BD, though I've yet to get caught up with it.

8-Bit Theater is a sprite-based comic parody of the original Final Fantasy. It's actually really, really funny, though I'm only 100 strips in.

There are way too many abysmal web comics that I don't bother looking into new ones anymore. I used to read Dr. McNinja, Penny Arcade, XKCD, Dinosaur Comics, and a few others. Mostly just keep up with Dinosaur Comics now.

if you're only 100 strips into 8BT, it's probably still funny... but for some reason it just got boring to me after a while. i even went back after it was over just to read how it finally ended, and i didn't even crack a smile. i was sad

glad you like Dr. McNinja, though. my husband got me into it, he used to hang out at the Something Awful forums and that's where it all started, pretty much, lol. i was hooked at the 'ninjas vs. pirates' arc, myself :3

I take glance at VG Cats every now and then...but its updates are slowly dying...kinda sucks, cause I love his comics. (including the Super Effective ones)

I used to look at Fanboys Online or however you said it, but they died off a while back so I stopped looking.

Forgot to mention that I ENJOYED this one comic called Metroid Third Derivative. (forget how its spelled, lol) It was a sprite comic...was funny...very funny. xD (but it died out too...>_>)
