I was wondering what all those n00bs were talking about at school.

Sounds like me and my friends. And the rest of my school.

Let children have their immature fun. We'll probably look back years later and laugh our asses off. No point in being uptight, not everything must be intellectual, and nothing is illegal here.

I can't help but hear "Con los terroristas" ("with the terrorists") at the begining of the song.

Wow just noticed that. See what Gagnam style taught me. To never pay attention to foreign language lyrics even though it may be a language i know like this.

This just makes me angry.

I honestly don't see how anyone can be mad at this. Granted, originality has been thrown out of the window, but it's all just too weird to take seriously. Unless this happens to be a subtle insult to people of a certain race/culture, I'm unsure where all this ire is emanating from.

Remember when the internet used to be a tool used by the military? This is [only one reason] why we don't deserve it anymore.

Hey, I find these legitimately enjoyable.

I'm going to assume you are a very, very young individual.

Either way, the harlem dance is a fairly old form of dance and I'm completely oblivious to why it's a such a popular fad and to why it took over three decades to finally become one.

Apparently Gangdum Style got old.

Define how young. This is extremely popular at my school consisting of kids ages 12-18.

Also, this isn't even real Harlem Shake dancing. This is just flailing around/making obscene gestures to somewhat-dubstep music, with video cutting at the bass drop.

I always find it funny when people see something meaningless and harmless like this, they always try to themselves feel superior by saying how stupid the thing is. If you think it's stupid, then just ignore it.

Sounds about right. Any eighteen year old that would partake in this sort of act would be classified as mentally questionable.

I just remember the only fads when I grew up were pop music, crazy outfits/hair styles and cartoons.

There are some pretty legitimately good Space Jam remixes out there...

Yeah, I'll give you that. I kinda just meant people putting clashing tunes together at least sounds dumb. It's awesome when it works, though.

How about you stop being judgmental of children?

This is simple, unpretentious fun. Nobody is eating their own menses for attention not arguing how a song they can't understand is saving the generation.
