I'm feeling lazy and am not going to post any single vid here or actually explain what the Harlem Shake is. That's for YouTube. Anyone been a part of one though?
Fair enough. Here's a sample Harlem Shake (as done by some Norwegian Army unit):
Basically, the song Harlem Shake by Baauer (free download here) plays, and some guy (usually in a mask or helmet) dances to it, while everyone around him ignores him. Then it drops, and chaos ensues.
These fads just get more and more ridiculous (this, planking, ect). It makes me wonder about the sanity of my generation, lol.
Hey, I find these legitimately enjoyable. Maybe my standards are just lowered by awful pop musicians, awful TV and even stupider memes (Seriously, 99.9% of the people who listen to Gangnam Style don't understand crap)

Not gonna watch it - the very description alone is depressing. I was hoping you were talking about people adding basketball-themed music to the backround of completely unrelated songs, like this. As if that wasn't stupid enough.

Well, I'm going to avoid that, but still. This is mindless fun. Nobody is going to argue that the lyrics mean anything since there's nothing about cocaine or prostitutes. Nobody is going to argue over fame and sex appeal since it's not the Kardashians.
