Topic: Any games Nintendo should remaster?

I just played crash bandicoot insane trilogy and the idea came in my head if any games you would like Nintendo to remaster?

I'll gladly accept a remaster of any Nintendo game that I have not played before

2. Pokemon Diamond, Pearl, Platinum (I'm sure these games will be released on Nintendo Switch on year 2020)
3. Pokemon Black 2 & White 2
4. Paper Mario The Thousand Years Door
5. Super Mario Sunshine
6. Super Mario Galaxy 1 & 2
7. Pokepark 1 & 2

Mario Sunshine is the most necessary.

Mario Galaxy would be the easiest because they could just direct port it with higher resolution and it'd look fine.

Xenoblade Chronicles 1 would be my most desired.

@RazorWind A tech demo based on the original Luigi's Mansion was made for the 3DS in early development. It was the first thing most Nintendo devs saw in 3D on the system. Before that, they had even experimented with a 3D screen for the GameCube, and were going to make Luigi's Mansion compatible with it. So, a 3DS remake of Luigi's Mansion had been a long time coming

I second this.

Xenoblade Chronicles X immediately comes to mind. That game has some of the best combat and world design in the entire history of RPGs, and loads of other great things but some of the decisions about it are so infuriating and dumb. I mean some of them are personal pet peeves, like how you have to explore a ton of cool areas before they're used for any actual quests because of the "explore X amount of the continent" required missions, which is the most backwards decision possible. But some of the weird quirks of the game are clearly bad and the game is an unfinished story (in more ways than one), and they should be fixed as much as you shouldn't have to pause constantly to put on the iron boots in OOT.

Aside from the obvious laundry list of Mario and Zelda games:

Kid Icarus (3DS)

Seems like a game that had ambitions beyond what the 3DS could deliver, probably won't have a sequel, had a ton of content and would be a good fit on Switch.

Pikmin 1 & 2

Pikmin 3 is great... but a part of me still thinks that the other two are better in some ways. 2 was particularly long. Nintendo wouldn't do it but a trilogy collection would be unbelievable value and an instant recommendation to a very wide audience.

Wii Sports

I'd rather have a fully fledged sequel that gives us a 1v1 tennis mode with the options to move towards or away from the net and career modes for golf and tennis but, one way or another, Wii Sports should be on Switch.

Warioland All Stars

Give all of the Wario Land games a visual makeover to look like HD versions of Wario Land Shake It and package them together. Failing that - just Wario Land Shake It HD would be not unwelcome.

Cubivore

I never played it but I always thought the concept sounded great and it looked very stylish. It was definitely a game before its time because it'd fit right in amongst todays experimental indie games.

Chibi Robo

Like Cubivore I've never actually played it. Always wanted to though.

Dillion Trilogy

I think Nintendo has put a lot of love into these games and they've not reached the audience they perhaps could have. Bundled together on Switch with HD graphics I think they'd be reasonably successful.

Why not? Switch is the perfect home for puzzle games like this.

I’d mostly like Skyward Sword, the first two Pikmin games and potentially Earthbound in the style of the Link’s Awakening remake.

So many good choices on this list already. I'd like to see an HD port of Advance Wars 1, 2 and Dual Strike. Doesn't need to be remastered, just adjusted to run in HD. Redoing the sprites to display at HD resolutions without the heavy pixelization that comes from blowing them up.

And like @Anti-Matter said, Heart Gold and Soul Silver, but bring back the Poke-Walker too, as an app for your smartphone. Maybe even integrate it with Pokemon Go.

Don't know if this counts, but I want Christian Whitehead's remasters of Sonic 1,2, and CD to come to Switch. Maybe bundle all 3 and add a Sonic 3 Complete Version?
