I sorta liked the Mario movie but that was probably my idiot child self that liked anything relating to videogames.
Yes even crap movies. Kids like really stupid things.
Everytime someone makes a movie based on a videogame somewhere a puppy drops dead.

I was kinda hoping to see that Metroid movie happen that was announced like...YEARS ago or something though. xD

I know we've had at least 2 other SMB Movie threads before...
That said, I did actually like the SMB Movie--and still do. It's a guilty pleasure, I guess. It's definitely not the worst movie I've seen, by far. (That honor goes to Semi-Pro)

A Pixar Mario movie might work.

Here's a good idea a good Mario movie and make it animated we don't need those ugly goombas

Resident Evil

I liked it, it had it's kicks and giggles and it was fun to spot the Easter eggs. What I didn't like was the whole dino theme at the beginning.

RE the movie was average at best same with Mortal Kombat, I think we can do without another Mario movie.

A Mario movie might be good if its CGI or some other style of animation.

many video game based movies are terrible. and i agree that something like super mario would be better off as an animated film, than a live-action movie. i did read there were plans to make a metroid movie, but i just wondered who'd play samus.
