My thoughts exactly. Granted, they're promising concepts, but so was Wii Music. I'm starting to think Miyamoto is letting his ambitions get in the way of what actually makes for a fun game...
and it's not hard to understand why the gaming community might be a bit more excited by the new game from the guy that made Demon Souls and Dark Souls than they are for Splatoon?
Platoon had Gameplay footage. Bloodborne did not. So yes, I do find it very difficult to understand. We don't know thing one about Bloodborne, yet people's expectations are apparently through the roof for it? That's Unrealistic Expectations 101.
Xenoblade Chronicles X is still a spiritual successor apparently. So presumably like say, Final Fantasy, where its an entirely new story and world with familiar elements.

Makes sense to have an established naming brand for RPGS these days. It makes me wonder why Bloodborne doesn't have the souls name.
