I'd preferred them to announce more new games instead of a Ratchet remake too, but all the people dismissing that will go nuts when Nintendo do the same thing and announce a Sunshine remake later today. It will get tossed onto the 'big list of games in 2014' immediately.
It's almost as if this particular audience prefers Nintendo IP over Sony IP. Weird.
Well, preferring one game to the other, sure, but it's more mocking the concept of remaking a 6th generation platformer for an 8th gen machine when Sony does it, but calling it genius when Nintendo does it.
Remaking Gen 6 stuff is cool and all, but it caters almost exclusively to the built in fanbase. I absolutely loved Wind Waker HD, but then, I loved the original on Gamecube too.
I don't know if it's mocking the concept or just showing general disinterest. Either way, not the greatest thing to give a spot at E3. It wasn't for Nintendo last year either.
So Anakin kneels before Monster Mash and pledges his loyalty to the graveyard smash.
@Shingi_70 I agree. I think Microsoft showed me way more reason than Sony did to get their console, and I used to be a big Sony guy back in 6th and early 7th gen.
@ejvirzi HOLY CHEESE BALLZ THAT MAY ACTUALLY BE A GOOD IDEA! I would also totally make sense if that's what Miyamoto was looking at in that funny picture. What if it's a Wii U eShop title based on the idea of watching Security footage and sending people to take care of whatever's going wrong? Like Night Trap, except not bound to be attacked by the media for being too gruesome for our children.
Still kinda shocked Nintendo let it leak like this. A new Star Fox game would have been both unexpected, and a big deal since many people did not think we would see a new game.
But hell ya, I am looking forward to this game! Yet another game to look forward too once I get a Wii U

What I love about the new games of Miyamoto is that they all use the GamePad tremendously.
Cue in people saying that's no good and Nintendo should focus on regular controls instead, like DKC:TF.
