I finally found the anime I wanted to see. Is called The Book of Bantorra. It involves a group of people who are called Armed Librarians who wield supernatural powers, and their enemy is a evil church cult. Learn about this one when I had cable.

I just marathoned the first season of Squid Girl again >_<.

It's the cutest anime ever and I can't stop coming back to it. (I can't find anything new I wanna watch either...)

I just spent the past month praising TWGOK. I'm not sure if that would new to you or not though.

Also, I'm always glad to see when Conan subbing slow downs but then the team comes right back and releases 3 episodes at once! Just wish more than one of them weren't filler. I'm not sure there will ever be anime filler as pointless as 1 episode filler cases in this series.

But I don't want to watch something bad

Dude, Cowboy Bebop is pretty much required Viewing. It's literally the requirement to be an anime fan.

But seriously, it's not one of the worlds most universally acclaimed anime for nothing. Just watch it.

Am I the only one who didn't like Cowboy Bebop THAT much? Don't get me wrong, some episodes were fantastic, but I found myself bored on a good chunk of them. Maybe episodic anime just don't it for me.

Why do people point to their wrists when asking for the time, but don't point to their crotch when they ask where the bathroom is?

I found it consistently somewhere between "cool but I dont care" and "pretty good" until the truly amazing final episode.

My favorite episodes of Cowboy Bebop are:

  • The episode where they have to go into old Tokyo to find a Betamax.
  • Where Spike has to fight "Mad Pirrot" or whatever his name is. Yeah, it gets a tad creepy, but it was cool seeing him struggle against an opponent that was essentially superpowered.
  • The episode where they have to fight the mutated "mystery meat" from the fridge, lol.
  • The epic final episode.

It's a great series overall, though, and I love all the scenes with aerial combat, because they make it look all fluid & intense.

My favourites are Black Dog Strut, Waltz for Venus, Jupiter Jazz and Sympathy for the Devil. I love how it's like an album of songs - they're all different and everyone likes a few the most.

Except Boogie Woogie Feng Shui. I don't think anyone liked that one XD

I like this idea. I should make a list too.

Prior to 2013, I hadn't really watched that much in the way of anime, only having seen Black Butler and Sword Art Online during 2012. I decided to branch out and watch a lot of anime during 2013, so I have a much more substantial list now:

2012
Black Butler
Sword Art Online

2013
Accel World
Madoka Magica
Fate/Zero
Silver Spoon
Katanagatari
Attack on Titan
Girls und Panzer
Full Metal Panic
"..." Fumoffu
"..." The Second Raid
Beyond the Boundary
The Devil is a Part-timer
JoJo's Bizarre Adventure
Love Live!: School Idol Project
Gargantia of the Verduous Planet
My Teen Romantic Comedy is Wrong as I Expected
Red Line (Movie)

2014
Spice & Wolf (Seasons 1 and 2)
The World God Only Knows / TWGOK
Bakemonogatari
Nisemonogatari

Currently Watching
Gurren Lagann
Nekomonogatari
The World God Only Knows season 2

Accel World, Girls und Panzer, Katanagatari, My Teen Romantic Comedy..., Spice & Wolf, and Bakemonogatari are my absolute favorites.

Oh I love One Piece so much. I rewatched it and I'm now at Thiller bark, somewhere in the middle I think. The funny thing is, I remember I disliked this arc the most from maybe all arcs. And Water 7 was like the best, but this time I didn't enjoy water 7 that much as I am enjoying Thriller Bark now so that's fun. Talking about fun, I have laughed so many times with this arc till now, all these zombies and Pervsalom(my avatar!), so funny! And then Brooke with his story, Laboon!! Genius

Finished up Little Busters! I see why everyone says Refrain is some of Key's best work. It's easily one of the most cohesive stories that they've written and it hits you in lots of unexpected ways. I actually prefer Clannad though, since the familial and coming of age aspects in Tomoya's story moved me a lot more. I do feel that JC Staff could have done a better job with the adaptation, but again transitioning between game and anime is hard (and there were many scenes where I thought "this would have been so awesome in Visual Novel form!").

I then started watching Kill la Kill! I didn't find it that insane, which probably says more about how deeply I fell into the anime hole than how crazy the show itself is. I kept making parallels with other shows rather than losing my mind at how crazy it was. I don't know if I'll continue though, I want to watch Beyond the Boundary too, as well as Nagi no Asukara. And Golden Time and Samurai Flamenco. There's too much stuff that I'm following D:
