Back when I was younger, I used to watch DBZ, Yu Yu Hakusho, Gundam, Dragonball, Dragon ball GT, Yu-Gi-Oh, Pokemon, and The Big O. But now I only watch Naruto Shippuden.

The anime series I'm currently watching are One Piece (personal favourite), Full metal alchemist 2, Bleach, Gintama & Eden of the east.
Eden of the east is easily the best new spring season anime with great plot, characters and animation.

I watched Death Note back when it was just coming out in japan. I don't care for the dub. Monster was a really good anime WAY better than DN it realy got into my head and left me ... Its so great I cant describe it (it is faithful to its manga word for word scene for scene). FMA come on who doesn't like fma? I'm watching the new series now which is supposed to be more faithful the FMA manga

Death Note is the only show I favor the subbed, mostly because its how I first watched it (and also mostly because of the Japanese/English Lights.) I just started watching Code Geass R2 on the web because there's no release date for the DVDs. :(

I have Speed Grapher. By the end, I only thought it was okay.

@Objection blaster: With regards to naruto anime, yes the filler is absolute rubbish and unfortunately there is way too much of it. Shippuuden was better at first starting off with a great deal of manga content, but then they had a big dose of filler before getting back to the manga. At the moment they are currently mired in another dose of filler. When it follows the manga, the series is great, the animation is of a higher quality... its like they drag out the work experience animators for the filler rubbish :( I would heartily recommend reading the manga series of shippuuden. It is excellent. Actually, i'd really recommend the three episodes of manga between shippuuden and regular naruto. Its about how kakashi got his sharingan - which is quite brutal and comes back into the shippuuden manga in the future.

@timp29-Yes I've read a good deal of the manga, including the chapters you mentioned. Shippuden (anime) was initially better but it has run into the same problems of using lackluster filler episodes to catch up to the original source, which is why I prefer animes that only run 1 or 2 seasons or have an original ending (Elfen Lied or FMA.)

Hey where are the Inuyasha fans?! :(

Back then I only liked the classic Pokemon & liked it up until Hoenn; then the voices changed & I stopped watching it ever since! Same goes for Digimon; for Season 1 & 2 were the best, while 3 was just okay... but Seasons 4 and 5 of Digimon SUCK-O! And the classic Yu-Gi-Oh was my thing because I digged the egyptian story of the phaorh Yami Yugi & all of the dueling with Kaiba, Marik, & Dartz... couldn't stand Yu-Gi-Oh GX from the get go! And I've been a huge DBZ fan since the beginng all the way up til GT; its always and forever awesome! But nowadays the only thing I watch is Inuyasha; because I dig the whole character plots, action, romance, & fuedal story! So goes to show you I only truly love good ol classic parts of my only favorite shows! :)

Nearly finished rewatching Neon Genesis Evangelion. I've watched all the episodes again, including the original finale. Now i have to watch the Movie, The End Of Evangelion and I'll start watching the new remake, Rebuild of Evangelion.

Then, I'm going to start watching Code Geass

Now that I've watched both seasons and the movie of Fullmetal Alchemist, I can honestly say it is a great show. It was a lot better than I expected, in story, animation and voice-acting (I love dub over sub.) FYI: I borrowed the seasons froma friend. I rarely watch anime on the web because I try to support the English efforts.

Have you kept up with the "remake" of FMA at all? It's cool that we're able to legitimately watch it so soon after airing. I have only seen the first two episodes so far, so it's weird getting used to the subbed cast after only watching the dub cast of the first series. I'll have to watch the next 2 or 3 episodes this weekend to catch up. :o

Are you referring to FMA: BRotherhood? Is it really only a "remake"? Hmm...I guess I'll catch it anyway, once I finish watching the Elfin Lied (Great, mature, anime series) DVDs I ebayed recently.

Yeah, remake as in "following the manga more closely" from what I hear.

Awesome, enjoy Elfen Lied. I missed out on the singles+box, but I'll probably buy the re-re-release when it comes out this summer so I can have it, since it was indeed very good. :D
