Hi everyone, it's my first thread here so, A couple of weeks ago I booted up my GBA SP for the first time in 8-9 years cause I wanted to play Link's Awakening again. After beating it, I moved on to Oracle of Seasons and that playthrough reminded me how lovely the animal buddies in that game (and Ages as well) were. So, the question is: would you like to see them in new Zeldas? Which is your favourite one?
Personally, I love Moosh, but I find the 3 of them to be really cute and funny.
I could've sworn the kangaroo one was in Link's Awakening, but that actually came before Seasons and Ages. Yeah, I'd love to see them again someday, even if its just a cameo. They were cool.
Dimitri was always my favorite, but for some reason I always end up with Mosh.... So I ended up warming up to him.
Ricky is pretty meh, though.
The way you get your flute determines the animal buddy you'll end up with I didn't remember how that worked in the details during my latest playthrough, but luckily I got Moosh's flute without even knowing
P.S.: thank you, MegaBeedrill, though actually I've been here for months it's just I'm not that into commenting things so a lot of people here probably have never noticed me I tend to read a lot of articles and thread here on NL but I rarely throw myself into discussions
Yeah in Seasons it's very easy to end up with Moosh if you have 150 spare rupees at the beginning of the game, and that is why I got his in my latest playthrough
On a side note, lately I've been thinking about a game starring the 3 of them as main characters: wouldn't it be awesome to have a colourful 3D platformer/collectathon based around their abilities? And if we are in a daydreaming mood, we might want it to be developed by Playtonic I guess I'd buy that on day one
