which do you perfer to buy your games?

Whatever's cheaper, which is usually Amazon.

This, though I prefer to pre-order from Amazon since I don't have to go all the way over there to pick up the game, and I'm not ordering from GS' website.

Just like Shakira, I'm a whenever, wherever kind of guy. If the game I want is on sale I will buy it. Rarely, will I order a (modern) game online.

Just websites or just straight up comparing the two cause either way I'd say Amazon normally cheaper.

I'm a bit of an Amazon junkie, so 9/10 I buy from Amazon, except in the rare case that they have the same price as Gamestop.

Amazon, every day of the week. Lower prices in general, and Amazon customer support has always been pretty helpful for me any time I have a problem.

http://www.ShopTo.net/ is the best site, because of cheap prices, but out of the two options, I choose amazon, because they are normally cheaper.

GameStop, because I don't like waiting for something in the mail (and I'm a member of their rewards program).

Either one is fine with me. I do both.
I tend to get better deals on games on Amazon from both Amazon themselves and third party sellers on the marketplace.
If I'm at the mall and I'm there in EB Games/Gamestop I might sift through the used games or buy something on impulse.

Gamestop because I like the staff at the ones near me

Amazon! So much cheaper, which is the main reason.

There's no physical Gamestop shops in the UK anymore (never knew there were ever any until recently), but 90% of the time I use Amazon, and 95% of the time I use online stores in general. I almost never use physical shops for games anymore because stuff like HMV and GAME are almost always ridiculously overpriced, and used shops like CeX put terrible, ugly stickers on their games so they lose their resell/collector's value.

If its an old game Amazon.
If its a new game I'll usually check Target first, but if they don't have it, then gamestop

For the price of a used game at Gamestop I can buy a new game from Amazon. Besides I don't have to deal with rude, misleading, think-they-know-it-all sales people with Amazon.

Or even worse....fanboys/fangirls.

There's a Gamestop within walking distance of where I work. And they all know not to try and sell me a warranty. >:[

New, amazon, or local store. Used, gametraders (local chain) or ebay. Amazon has terrible prices for used games.

Amazon. I got most of my games and consoles a day or two early by ordering from Amazon. CeX ranges from amazing to terrible for used games and trade in values but they do stupid things with price drops that mean they sell out of slightly desirable games far too quickly and then overprice them for the other 11 months of the year.
