Who would win in a fight Batman or Superman?

Do you think there will ever come a time when you become "too old" for video games? If so what do you see yourself doing careerwise after this?

If you add me, I need to at least know you or I won't add you back.

My question is somewhat similar to @Vee_Flames 's, and that is:

On a website at global as NL (in terms of both audience and contributors), how often do you actually see your colleagues, and how is the whole thing structured? Does Alex walk into the office every morning, bellow "HELLO LOVELY PEOPLE!", and spend the rest of the day thumbing through his favourite compendium of semi-antiquated Britishisms; or is the entire website run from the homes of a widely dispersed network of contributors who rarely meet?

And if the latter, what percentage of your articles do you estimate to have written in your pyjamas?

I don't have a question, @ThomasBW84, but I just wanted to say that I think encouraging the Nintendo Life staff to participate in the forums more often is a neat move — thanks for stopping by. I've been bouncing from forum to forum for a while and still haven't quite found a home for intelligent, well-moderated Nintendo discussion without latent console warring — NL certainly tops my list of Nintendo-centric sites, and I'd love to see those bright folks on the staff help grow the forum community.

Did not realize you answered my question until I randomly checked today, but wanted to say thank you for the answer. It did clarify and I appreciate the detail in the answer.

"How big is the Nintendo Life office? How many computers are in there?"

We shared an office for a time in England with a rather nice web design company. It was quite small but very homely, but I moved back to Scotland to work remotely, which leads to another question...

For a spell myself, Damien McFerran and Anthony Dickens were in the same office in England, but as so many of our staff are global and we lose little from working remotely I decided to move back to Scotland. I appreciate that's a luxury and not many are lucky enough to have work that flexible.

So we all work remotely now, using email, instant messaging and occasionally Skype to communicate. The instant messaging app we use, in particular, was a real game changer and is fantastic. Those of us in the UK do see each other every June for E3 (me, Damo, Ant, Darren Calvert, Alex, maybe Martin Watts sometimes) and we invade the old office to tackle that week together. So that's fun, and plenty of UK staffers also see each other when we go to EGX every year. Some of our NA staff certainly see each other occasionally too at E3 and other events.

And yes, Alex is as loud as you'd expect in an office environment!

"Who would win in a fight Batman or Superman?"

Obviously Superman, but I actually think he's a rubbish character (ooh, I'm controversial today) so have no interest in a certain movie that's about to hit theatres

"Do you think there will ever come a time when you become "too old" for video games? If so what do you see yourself doing careerwise after this?"

I think I'll always play games, but my tastes will likely evolve. Even at the modest age of 31 my tastes now are a lot different from 5 years ago. I don't plan to write about games for the rest of my life, but I do plan to be a writer until I shuffle off this mortal coil. I'd love to actually work in making games, but will only do so if I can do something good!

"What are your top 10 favorite video games of all time?"

Crikey, I'll have to come back to that one.

If you could see any Nintendo franchise get turned into a big budget movie which one would you want to see the most?

1. Would you say working on video game journalism has:

(a) Made you love games and gaming more?
(b) Made you love games and gaming less?
(c) Had no significant impact on how much you love games and gaming?

2. Do you spend more time gaming now than before you started in games journalism, or less?

3. Do you read other sources of gaming news for leisure, or just for research?

You guys had me at blood and semen.

Would you turn a tortoise that is on it's back if you saw one in a desert?
