Topic: Am I better off buying a 3DS rather than wait for Wii U games to come put

Simple question really. Should I buy a 3DS now Instead of waiting for Wii U titles to come out. Sure I'm stoked for Mario Maker and the rest of the games but with a 3DS my library could be opened so much more. What do you think I should do?

you can not go wrong with a 3DS. it is a great device and has so many good games.

is there nothing for wiiU that interests you now? mario kart 8? smahs?

I have Smash. I'm not really a fan of it. I have MK8 sealed and don't really want to open it lol. That's another point about getting a 3DS. All the companies under the sun seem to support it. Got so many good games.

Get a New 3DS. Might as well be a similar price and coming out reasonably soon.

Release dates not confirmed yet and knowing the UK. We'll get it alot later than everyone else so the new one may not be an option at the moment.

well then. if there aren't enough games for you then you should get a 3DS IMO.

I do own a Wii U. Good machine just beat pretty much everything I have lol. Going to head into town to see what bundles they have as I want to try and get a Pokemon bundle for roughly around £130.

If you don't own a 3DS by now, you should really just go out and buy one already. The games for it are fantastic, and they're definitely the kind to keep you occupied while waiting for new Wii U titles.

Of course, you might want to wait for the New Nintendo 3DS (the new revision with better hardware and support for exclusive new games), but that's your choice I guess.

Meh the 3DS will be replaced. I doubt anything mind blowing. I would opt for an modified NDS large or something along those lines.

Mario maker or whatever it is called you can do without for an long long time. Just focus on things in your budget that you missed over the years. It is not going anywhere. However if you want to MMORPG and things like Mario Kart I could understand.

At this point, it would probably be better imo to get a Wii U now instead. You would probably be satisfied with the games and there is much more to play now. It would most likely hold you off until the heavy hitters arrive and you'd have a steady amount of games to play through. Wait for the New 3DS to play those games because it's pretty much improved in every way compared to the original and it is even getting exclusives in the future which will not be on the regular one. Anyways, Wii U now, 3DS later. That's my answer.

The 3DS is slowing down over here (probably due to the announcement of the New 3DS), but there are a lot of good games out for it already. I have 25 retail games for it already (still got 2 more to get plus 4 more coming out this year).
