So, this is going to be a bit long, so stay with me. A friend of my cousin was injured several months ago in Afghanistan and after physical training and several plastic surgeries is finally headed back to the states. He lost his arm from the elbow down (amongst other things), and will be living in my spare room until summer while he goes through psychological, physical and career counseling.
Why am I saying this? Because the doctors told him he needed to take up a hobby to take his mind off of his troubles for even a little bit, and the nurses overseas got him hooked on the Wii. So what I need are some game suggestions that can be played with the Wiimote only (obviously he can't use the nunchuck). He's a bit of a jock (I don't mean that in a bad way) and not fond of things that are too cutesy or skew young, but other than that it's all good. Thanks in advance!

That really bites that he lost his arm. I wish him luck. Yeah, World of Goo, House of the Dead, Boom Blox and Endless Ocean are all good. I would say Zack & Wiki, but you mentioned it wasn't his kind of game. At points you actually do need two hands though. How about Tiger woods PGA Tour 10? It's totally possible to play with one hand on that. Swords and Soldiers is a must. If he likes to laugh, the Strong Bad games would work nicely. Art Style Orbient is great, and you only need two buttons to play. Art Style Cubello is good, if you're looking for an arcade style game.

All of Telltale's games are pretty good (even though they're more pointy clicky than action...y). Really, the only other things I can think of are WiiWare. Unless someone can operate the Nunchuk for him. :3

then you wouldnt want to be on the Chat When Feenies on [the sarcasm emoticon on Backloggery has the tongue curved slightly, showng that it's joking around; while the sarcasm emoticon shown here on NintendoLife has the tongue sticking straight out, looking like it's sticking it out of disrespect (from how I see it). I think the best solution is that I view the NL emoticon as that of BL's emoticon, so I can tell that they're joking around.]
